megapilot 0
Do the new Airbus A320/A321 lack altitude Callouts on landing, since I do not hear it? I am not sure whether it has something to do with the soundtrack, but there is anyway I could add Airbus callout sounds?
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted August 23, 2016 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 23, 2016 The callouts work fine actually. Have you checked your FSX/P3D voice volume settings?
megapilot 0
Yes, I did. I still have the "approaching Runway" and "on Runway" sounds, but not the altitude Callouts. It turns out also that my Airbus A318 no longer has it either, and it still has the default Aerosoft soundtrack.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted August 23, 2016 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 23, 2016 Those announcements are made by the RAAS system, which is not the same as the one giving the altitude callouts on landing. What about the volume control in the right MCDU? To what value do you have it configured?
megapilot 0
When I loaded it, all the volumes were set to 0%. I loads default and GPWS got set to 100%. I am hoping that will do the trick.
