Chaders 97 Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Hi All, Just wondering If my old 'G-CHAD' paint scheme for the FS9 version on the Kat will work now I've upgraded to the FSX Version. Anyone had any joy proting across different paints?? Will I need to convert the texture types to new fangled DDS ones?? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to painting. Thanks in advance. ChrisB 11 Posted March 18, 2007 Share Posted March 18, 2007 Open it in "texture tool" and save back as DDS. it won't be poifeck, but it'll work - I think. Oh, first duplicate a paint out of the Kat folder and name it chad or whatever. Then simply place and rename your FS9 paints over the FSX files in the new "chad" folder That way any spec and bump will be there already.
