Richard McDonald Woods 9
I know that I should be able to pre-file a PFPX flight plan into VATSIM so that when I start vPilot I can access that FP. But I do not know how to achieve this. What do I need to do to get this function running?
srcooke 422
Having computed and released the flight use the SEND to Vatsim option. Alternatively if you wish to import the plan to vPilot use the export Squawkbox3 or higher option, sending to a folder of your choosing.
Richard McDonald Woods 9
Hi Stephen, Thanks for your helpful reply. I have long been using the Export function to save my FP. However, I had not realised that sending a pre-file to VATSIM is hidden behind the innocuous Send icon. It would probably be more logical to have the Print, Save, Send options of the OFP group, and the Validate, Save and Export options of the Route group all behind the Flight Plan group. But there we go... Regards, Richard
