Great Photos!
It looks as if at least you were having fun!

I noted that Leipzig-Halle (EDDP) is going to be on the boxed set of German Airports 2 X and that FS9 versions of all the airports will also be on the cd.
Would it be possible to have a download version of EDDP only?
both in FS9 & FS10.
I only ask because I already have the other airports.

One of my (older) flying buddies down at the airport calls the DHC-3, “The Ferocious Beast with table Manners”.

Not sure what this pilot of a Twin Otter was thinking, - maybe he was confused and thought he was fooling around in FSX?
Just occurred 03/20/08
Pilots like that give all of us a bad name.
Of course now that I have the owner's info, it dosen't surprise me. I've heard comlaints on them before!

That's great news. Overland makes some nice sceneries.

I don't understand this phrase.
"KLAX/KDCA - Los Angles and Washington by Cloud9 (waiting for final KORD) "
What does "waiting for the final KORD" mean? Once KORD included in AES, KLAX and KDCA will follow in the same AES release?
I'm confused a bit.
Edit: Oliver, you beat me to the answer.
-
When will cloud9's KLAX be added to AES ?
Mikep,
Check out this thread.

... yep, don't you love waking up three times a night, look at the mess on your new books, watch 'em scratch up the TV screen with some piece of metall ... watch 'em grow older and steal your stuff, call you names and finally leave ...
...and that's just the good stuff! :x
Get a stiff drink, sit down, call the shrink and I'll tell ya about the bad stuff! :!:
...no wait,...I can't...It's too painful  Help me mommy

Rafal and Matthew, Thank you for the information!

A big Thank you Oliver for the update on the next version of AES.
I am now trying to get the airports installed and ready for when you release the next version of AES. But I am having trouble finding the sceneries:
EDDE - Erfurt of Projekt Erfurt
LOWL - Linz of Klaus Puertinger
WIII - Jakarta of Buddy Santoso.
Could you please tell me where I can get these airports?

Simply brilliant!

At that altitude you need to start the engine very lean.
1)Start with your mixture all the way lean.
2)As you start cranking the engine, slowly add to the mixture and it should start.
3)Then adjust the mixture for best the engine performance.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Doesn't work again.
Till they fix it, how good is the Piper Cheyenne? The price is really pipered, so I expect a really good product.
Eddyz,
I have the Cheyenne and love her. She is a joy to fly! When I'm not flying a heavy, you'll find me up in the Cheyenne.

PS - I noticed the US Airways on your sig - did you ever fly into KBGM? My old home town - pretty much just a commuter destination now but I remeber days past when the BAC 1-11 used to fly in there.
Hi Joe,
I never flew into Binghamton with the US Airways, most of my time with them I was on 737s based out of Pittsburgh (KPIT) to all points.
After the company and British Airways struck their deal I transitioned to 767s and was on the Trans-Atlantic routes based out of New York (KJFK).

Joe,
I got the same error except mine involved LIMC and KDAL.
Check your scenery.cfg in the main FS9 folder and make sure ou don't have any double entries for LIMC, as this seems to be the problem.
If you don't have any double entries then here is the work around I used.
1. Start FS9 and go to the scenery library
2. Find and delete the entries for ISDProject- LIMC2005 and ISDProject LIMCterrain
3. Close FS9 and then restart FS9
4. Again Close FS9
5. Start AEShelp and go to Activation of airports and activate LIMC (for some unknown reason it will work)
6. Close AESHelp
7. Start FS9 and place any default aircraft anywhere on LIMC (you will see the default airport and AES Scenery)
8. Quit your flight and return to the scenery library
9. Add the areas ISDProject- LIMC2005 and ISDProject LIMCterrain back to your scenery Library and
Manually move both below the AES Base pack making sure that LIMC-2005 is above LIMCterrain.
10. Close FS9 and then restart FS9
Again this is not a fix it is just a work around. It may or maynot work for you. After I did it everything
began working as normal and I have not had any more problems.
I hope this is of some Help!

Hi all,
I just received this e-mail from Marcus
“Hi Christian,
Thank you for the kind words and your concern. No need to fear as the mis-communication has already been worked out between us and Aerosoft. 9Dragons will have full support of AES. Be on the lookout for an update of AES and a 9Dragons V2 with full support for AES.
Spread the word!”
So I'm spreading the word!
Also check this out in the German AES Thread.

I'm showing my age here, but I can remember while I was stationed at Sembach AFB the rate was about 3.75 DM to 1USD....Ah..but those days are long gone.
