GPWS call-outs are a must, in my view. But FO call-outs ?? I'd rather have you make a pitch to FS2Crew with this thing. He has the version ready (in the Wilco fiasco) only needs to port it over to this version.

I have often wondered about this myself. Clearly Mumbai & Shanghai are major finacial centers in Asia, and yet we have nothing for BOM and an older (not so good) version for PVG.
If I may, I would like to address what I think is needed in Asia for FSX.
DEL - BOM - DXB - ICN - PVG - PEK - CAN - HKG - SIN - KUL - NRT - HND - KIX - NGO
And even Moscow & Istanbul:
SVO - DME - IST
Those are either, huge capatals or powerhouse finacial centers. Some of them had fantstic FS9 versions (Overland/FlyTampa).
Anyway, I would buy DEL and/or BOM, in a heartbeat.

The longer it takes til this addon is finished, the older FS9 will have become - and the more users will have switched to FSX anyway. Don't let this become another fs9 v fsx discussion, it's just what I think about it.

We don't need aerial images, that is ok. No spyplane could get us the images we need, because in order to do good buildings you need to stand right in front of it (orthogonally). So you would need access to the airports. We had someone with access to the airports but he seems to have vanished.

I agree but we need more people on site to help us out. We are not going to do a half baked product and right now we just lack friends there.
For us living here (in Iceland), what exactly is it that you need ??
I live about 2 hours drive from BIKF, and have a good camera but no access to a plane to take aereal photos. So I could only take pictures from the ground.

Same here. I will go there to take photos specially for Aerosoft. Our country is fun to fly around, if you have an mesh package. So, BIRK, BIAK, BIIS, BIVM and BIEG are all small airports that the Aerosoft team could do in a heartbeat, blindfolded
BIIS, BIAK and BIVM are difficult approaches in heavy weathers.Vagar airport has been developed into a payware release. Hope to get it someday.
I have the Aerosoft Scandinavian Airports 1 & 2. So a little Iceland package would be super for FS9.
Anyway, just wanted to add another point here for Iceland.

After looking at the screenshots of Lisbon 2008, I must say that I have a huge crush on it
I feel it is on par with other airports, with the "MEGA" in front of it, and so, surely it deserves the Aerosoft Mega treatment. The box, the charts and of course the BOX itself, for collector nuts like many of us are.

To current owners of FS FLIGHT KEEPER, here's a question:
Can the ACARS device get the winds aloft information and show it in the gauge?? xxx/xx at various FL levels??
I'm using ASV 6.5 in offline mode and I can print it out from the ASV interface, but it uses a LOT of paper. So I was hoping to use the ACARS gauge to gather that information.

But you can't compare Aerosoft to PSS, certainly not in this aspect.That was not my intention nor meaning. We the customers, are just always better safe than sorry. Sh*t has a habit of happening, sometimes.
Never had anything other than outstanding service from Aerosoft.
Really wished those Plokhaars were still around
they know how to do it.

I just wanted to ask about when is the PMDG 747-400 & 400F going to be released?? It's been under a "Pre-ordering currently not available!" since last summer !!??
I am therefore nervous about when the PMDG MD-11 gets released, if it takes such a long time to package theese things.

I'm having trouble, regarding the ATC usage of runways in EDDT.
I'm allway's assigned 08R/26L by ATC for take offs and the ATC window does not offer 08L/26R for take offs (by request different runway).
I use the LDS767 mostly from EDDT and an runway of 2.424m is just barely enough to rotate the 767 for a transatlantic hop, with 70-80% load + 10 extra tonns of safety/diversion fuel, just a few meters shy of the threshold. Hardly with-in any airlines SOP's.
I've looked for a AFCAD file here, using the search function and came up empty.
Do you guys know of any AFCAD file or any other way to address this issue??

It's the John Lennon birthday memorial, stationed in Viðey. A little island, few hundred meters north of BIRK.
Yoko Ono comes here once a year to light it up, 9th of October. And it is supposed to be lit until 8th of December. But the first year she allowed it to be lit, until the christmas season was over.
Dont remember if that is still the case.
