It´s a favorite saying of all Moderators and Administrators

I do not see any reason for this, it does not matter. You simply increase the number of new threads and increases with the closure its own number of contributions.

There are enough examples, where after a while you have a demand or what you want to add, but the connections are always missing with an new thread!

Some spend the day really only to close threads!

Probably not just incomprehensible to me.
