  1. Great to hear! Continue with the glass half full! You were first out of the gate with the CRJ and you will remain as the leader with continued refinements to future updates. Congrats!
  2. Thanks very much guys! I'm sure there are many individuals unaware of the Bombardier humble beginnings.
  3. Pay no attention to the majority of downvotes. The most inspirational videos on YouTube get numerous dislikes. People give down thumbs because they can and there is no accountability.
  4. You know, if you are going to do a review, do it properly, do your homework and get it right. Certain YouTubers need to take a step back to polish the finished product.
  5. Didn’t realize I could post a direct link to an unlisted video. Here is the direct link.
  6. I am working on a Developer Spotlight/promo video for the CRJ. The video (unlisted at this time) will incorporate a short segment on the history of Bombardier. The history part is complete and can viewed on my channel. Click on the community tab at this link to see the draft video if interested. https://www.youtube.com/c/TheFlightLevel
  7. You will surpass them in air time by week two 😉
  8. Excellent! Puts everyone on the starting line together, especially for this type of release!
  9. Couldn’t resist replying to this part. So, so true. So much more comfort and noise reduction when going from Flight School headsets to your own headset (Lightspeed). Had to give Lightspeed a plug 🙂
  10. And if you would like to get Canada and US in on the action. Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Seattle, USA (KSEA)

  12. Okay, thanks. I see they are pinned deep under manual translations!
  13. Do we just have access to Vol. 1 of the manuals at this time?
  14. From the internet (360 VR file). Putting together a video on the CRJ plus Bombardier history and showcasing the Aerosoft model.
  15. Quite true. In addition, pilots can lose the manual skills very quickly with too much automation. When certain aspects of autopilot malfunction or fail and you are forced to take the controls manually, precious time can be lost re-adjusting your inputs, feeling the aircraft behaviour and staying ahead of the aircraft. This is even more apparent when flying in difficult weather conditions.
  16. Looking pretty sweet! Couldn't get the camera tilt angle to exactly match the one by Mathijs, but good for a quick comparison.
  17. Just more time to do pre-reads and video watching to better understand the aircraft! PS: The visuals of the flight deck look exceptional! Working on a short AeroSoft CRJ spotlight video the incorporates Bombardier history. Good luck with the launch in March!
  18. Processing time to SD is really quick, but processing to 4K can be quite long. Even a very short video can take hours. Stats indicate that 300-500 hours of video is upload every minute to YouTube! Just depends when your upload gets into the queue.
  19. I can’t keep up to the frequency of posts here! Seeing that a release in March is a solid bet, I should turn my video efforts now to a CRJ related production. Blue skies pilots!
  20. Gotcha on that. Once you have it downloaded though (on my desktop) it is just a click away that runs automatically with all the features and benefits just like XP11. Definitely worth the click for all the advantages with IFR and VFR flights. Enough about ForeFlight and back to the CRJ!
  21. You can use ForeFlight with MSFS. I use it in my real world flights and for each flight in MSFS. I use the FlightAware client. Just one extra step to connect to MSFS. Very easy and works with no problems in complete synchrony with the sim. You can check my YouTube channel “The Flight Level” for examples of IFR and IFR videos for reference. Link in “About Me” in my profile.
  22. For XP12, I believe they are saying some aspects of improved scenery (3D trees for example), but difficult to imagine how they could match the level of MSFS. But remember, just a few years ago we couldn't imagine what we are seeing now from the default scenery in MSFS. New ideas and new technology with time in the other sim platforms may surprise us.
  23. I use ForeFlight in all my flights for FS2020 and X-Plane. The integration is seamless and accurate with both sims. Flight plans are precisely matched between ForeFlight and the sims. You can check my videos out using ForeFlight on my YouTube channel “The Flight Level”
