Great job! Wow in such a short time such a good planned airline. AMAZING
-
How do you do that?
-
Flight to Milan in the evening, for a night at the opera.

Hi All.
Bookings for flight lessons are now open!
In your email (to flightschool@andrasfield.com) you will need to mention what sort of flight you want to do. You have 3 options:
1: Single flight lesson, to learn the basics of any of our aircraft.
2: Flight to Innsbruck and back, where you will learn to fly an ILS and tower controlling. You can choose any of our aircraft except for the bell 22
3: Full flight lesson program, which consists of 5 flight lesson and a solo flight in VAE! Any aircraft from the list is possible here
The aircraft you can choose from:
Cessna 172
Baron 58
Learjet 45
bell 206 Jetranger
Extra 300
Interested? send a message to flightschool@andrasfield.com
And remember, first come, first served.
Happy flying

Good point Ole! That Connex drive is good to place A few plots, so good work.
P.S. When will the next meeting be?

here are the photos
The buildings which i would like to be demolished:
The new building should leave the west hangar, but make it look a little better. There should be a small hallway building connecting the west hangar to the new building on the location of the east hangar. The new building should be with a lot a glass at the apron side, and on the road side there should be a few parking places, along with a fountain.
Building 2 storeys high should be enough.
What do you think Andras?

Another question about CJ virtual, where can I find the download for the Mcdonnell Douglas (It doesn't say which aircraft it is exactly)?
-
I would say, just a small terminal building. Maybe something like this airport? Groningen Airport Eelde Would be good. Otherwise we are going to have a big terminal building and thats going to disturb the idea of a small nice airport.
-
Hey Craig,
Good to hear that you are planning more routes . Could you please make sure not to land any aircraft later that 9 PM, otherwise we are going to have some angry people . Maybe it would be nice to have a special terminal for passenger flights.
-
Through gamespy then would be the best. Sounds like a good solution to me
-
Sorry Ole,
Its not going to work. I got a reply stating that this is not posssible at the moment. Only in Gamespy this is possible
-
And how does this cockpit sharing work? Is it as easy to do as in FSx standard multiplayer?
-
Sebastiaan
Im working on that right now - the ideas that is. But please keep it coming. I cannot wait to have you home on your FSX computer, so you can pour all those ideas out on paper (virtual paper that is)
Yep, nor can I (In this case nice for the Andras Flight School )
-
Darn
Have you asked the VAE people about this? If there is any possibility to use shared cockpit? I can ask them. I have been talking to Robert - the head over there, so if you havent talked to them, I could do it if you want me to.
If you could do so, then that would be very nice. But of course only if you want to
-
How are we going to show the park. Will there be a sign? I suppose a few benches, maybe a fountain, along with some walking paths
-
The problem is. You cant share a cockpit in VAE. I know that it looks nicer when flight school aircraft are flying around the field, but for us it simply does not work. I am very sorry . What we could do though is the solo flight in VAE
But if you find a way to do cockpit sharing in VAE, then we would be very happy to fly in VAE
-
Ha ha . Of course not Moshe. Anyone can fly online everywhere, and even IN Andras Field with their favorite network. I could not prevent this, nor would I ever. What Im saying is that VAE is our official network, and this is what we use when flying together here. This is what we use when we arrange online events, Flight School lessons, and AA-Club meetings. And this is what we tell new people to sign up to.
Everything else is private business, and way out of my hands.
OK?
Well about the flight school lessons. Me and Craig already discussed that we wanted to do the flights in FSX standard multiplayer. It is easy as you can have a closed session, with a password, which we will send to the client. Also you can fly an aircraft together, which makes it easier to teach. Can we be an exception please?

Sebastiaan.
There are exactly two reasons why I disagree with you on this point.
1) Its important to not overfill the scenery. When you taxi around in a plane, you see that the area is not nearly as wide-spaced as it seems on the map. Flat areas with no housing are very important for the visual reference of Andras Field.
Recreational areas are what makes urban areas attractive, so if we just do what was done in the urban areas in real life 50-60 years ago - draw roads on the map, and make as many plots and houses as can be possibly crammed in there, then we are going to lose the ability to let the scenery "breathe". Nothing more comforting than to be able to look out and see more than 30 feet. Its good for the soul.
2) Andras Field is stuffed with all sorts of things - every one of them takes a little framerate. We are not even close to have built all the houses that the plan on the map suggests will be built. and I can see that my computer agrees with me, when I say that IF we put in 30-40 more plots, and all that comes with additional plots, like trees, cars, more planes, ponds, dog-toilets - you name it, and we could do that, in the given area - then I need to learn to give CPR to my computer. And I think a lot of computers would go belly up on Andras Field, and I dont think this was the idea to begin with.
So I think its important that we keep the place as wide-spaced as possible, and the amount of polygons down. for all our sakes.
You are right Free space is good to leave.
-
I think the area in the middle should be used as well. could be used for a few more plots i would say...

Hello Sebastian,
Your forum was also done quite some time ago as well after your first e-mail.
You should see it right at the Bottom of the Andras Field Forums.
Great!, thanks a lot!!

Same here, seems to be less fun but easier
-
Sebastiaan,
Need more info. A new building, or an old one will do?
If new where? If old where?
Need drawing of signs, etc.
Andras
Well a new building would be nice, with a hangar next to it. preferably north of the runway, but if there is a space south. Would be very nice. I am currently on holidays with no access to FSX , but I can make an edited screenshot of the location when I return on the 8th.
Thanks
