  1. Hi All,

I have just purchased Airbus X ,and would be really gratful if anyone has got a annswer to the below,

Rudder - When landing on the runway or just before landing the rudder will rudder left or rudder right so the plane crashes, it does it all the time, this will not be acceptable online?

Flying - When using any aircraft banking left or right it responds straight away inc the default A321, does anyone know why when flying the Airbus X A320 that turning left or right or even up and down its so sluggish?

    Thanks everyone,

    Az

You could just turn off the 3 electonic control buttons in the overhead panel right above the pilot and it will solve the problem of being sluggish. Thats what I do and it flies much better. Its 3 buttons side by side.
  2. Why hasn't anyone answered the question to his problem here. This is the forum for solving problems and we cant act like its not happening on all the systems. I have the same exact problem on my system with the i7 2600K overclocked at 4.7 Ghz. I have the GTX 580 graphics card and there doesnt seem to be an explanation to why this happens. I have the addons for KORD and for KMDW and they work just fine, forget about default, who flies that way anymore. But Chicago X when its on is doing the Jerky thing every few seconds without fail. So the conclusion is Aerosoft needs to come up with a fix. Where is it......Some one take the time to help your fellow simmers out here. I have no problem helping out my brothers when FSX has a problem.

  3. Hello Marc,

A KML file is a Google Earth file just for reference to show you the area in question for the scenery!

hey Shaun, Happy New Year to you and your family. Just wondering when they are releasing the night textures. Its a really nice looking scenery and I read on Sim Market's site that they are planning to fix this but I didnt know if they meant now or in March. Thank you.

    Marc

A free update with night textures will be published until end of March 2011 for everyone who bought this product!

Never mind I think I understand it now. They will release a free update to those that had already purchased it.

Shaun forgive me but one more question. What is up with Madrid. You've seen my rig on youtube and 4-10 fps is crazy. Any fix for that airport or re-release to solve the problem. Thanks again....

  4. From the Aerosoft web site (Las Vegas X entry):

'Night textures: Of course we know that night textures are important for Las Vegas. Therefore our developer has spend some time researching if we can make an exception for this single city: We can!

A free update with night textures will be published until end of March 2011 for everyone who bought this product!'

Well I downloaded what I think is the night Textures but I dont know how to put them in because it doesnt come with any instructions. Any help here would be appreciated.

    Marc

  5. Just wondering about the night textures. I bought the product but night lighting is not available. On the SimMarket sight there is some doc,kml file to download. Should I download it and where do I put it. I was a bit disappointed to see no lights at night. Thank you Shaun

  6. so you're telling me that u're getting 20fps in vc and 35-40 in spotting view... U're the only one so far

That does sound rediculous, I have one of the strongest FSX Rigs on the planet and Im not getting anywhere near that. I had to turn off the Dense Traffic for Highway 3 and 2 just to get somewhere near 24 but it was still hanging around 15-16

most of the time. Why a person would make such a rediculous claim is beyond me. My youtube page shows my rig on Jan 19 2010 which gives my specs. If you dont have atleast that in your RIG there is no way you could claim to have 35 fps or more.

And what the heck is the night lighting problem. Is there a fix for that. It drops you to 1 fps for nothing. Seems like this might have been a rush job. Don't want Aerosoft to become like some of its competitors that just try to get it out there,

and not care if it works or not.

    Marc Anthony Gonzalez

PS I have almost every addon scenery worth having but this one although is good during the daylight hours, falls to pieces at night.

  7. Thanks, I think I'll go for it.

hold on, I have purchased MA Amsterdam X and it does beat up the frames quite a bit. And when the lights come on in the evening it goes down to 1 to 2 fps. During the light hours it can be around 11 to 15. This is on one of the most

powerful rigs built for FSX. Im on Youtube if you want to see my specs. Just put my name in the search menu on youtube. But again I was waiting for this to come out and it seems to have an issue with FPS unfortunately. I will still promote

it though because Im able to get past the FPS. But other RIGS may not be so lucky. Good Luck

  9. I did some googling and quite a few suggestions led back to this forum, here you go:

if you installed MyTraffic AFTER MadeiraX please check the folder

    ...\Microsoft Flight SimulatorX\MyTraffic\scenery

Look for the files BR2_LPMA.BGL for Madeira airport and BR2_LPPS.BGL for Porto Santo.

Deactivate these files by renaming it to BR2_LPMA.madeira and BR2_LPPS.madeira.

Exit FSX before you do so.

After renaming the files run FSX again. You should also check the scenery library in FSX.

The scenery entry for MyTraffc should be located below Madeira and other addon sceneries.

If necessary move the MyTraffic scenery down.

I have looked at the FAQs and the item on page 32 in the manual.........

APX43200.bgl is already shown as APX43200.madeira as is the cvx4320 file also "madeira".

    http://www.forum.aer...showtopic=27281

The second quote mentions the FAQ part of the manual, I know its an stupid question but did you have a look in there?

    Hope this helps somewhat!

    Chris

Hey Chris, I want to thank you for that insight you gave me, I really aprreciate you taking the time to do that, and it worked.

    Thank you

  10. Mesh would be the terrain, as in fs global or fs genesis which decides on the level of detail your mountains will have thus giving you different heights for your ground than the default. High detailed mesh has been known to cause problems such as yours. Sometimes it happens with lakes too which seem to sit on plateaus or in deep holes. even if you havent installed any dedicated mesh products, make sure that any scenery addons nearby that you may have installed dont contain any mesh in them.

IMPORTANT TO ALL USERS FOR MADEIRA. IT'S FIXED and I found the Solution with all of your help. BUt I read a post by Shaun Fletcher that mentions this

"Please check the FAQs section of the manual, it explains about this issue" after he commented on Daleboy's page. Daleboy had duplicate files like this,

APX43200.bgl and APX43200.madeira, the same with the cvx files. What Shaun told him to do is move them out of the folder APX 43200.bgl and cvx 4320.bgl

Well rather than move them out of the folder I changed the name of the file from APX43200.bgl to APX43200.madeira1 and did the same thing to cvx4320.bgl changed it

to cvx4320.madeira1. It will ask you if you are sure you want to do this, so just say YES to that.

I then started up FSX and chose Madeira and IT'S FIXED, no more city in the sky.

Thank you Shaun Fletcher and Gaura and the rest of you that offered support and help

  11. Hello Daleboy,

If you have both, then move the APX43200.bgl and cvx4320.bgl files out of FSX so as to keep them safe and then start FSX and see if the problem has gone if its gone then you can assume that its fixed and you can then delete the files you moved..

  13. is there a mytrafficX folder there with many BGL's in it? if so the filename might be different. Try searching simply for LPMA

  14. Why don' t you try scruffyduck' s airport scanner? I can only recommend it. It' s a tool which will precisely name you all (LPMA-)files. You can delete the unnecessary files directly from that tool or you just follow the indicated path and disable them manually.

    Good luck!

  16. is there a mytrafficX folder there with many BGL's in it? if so the filename might be different. Try searching simply for LPMA

At the bottom there is a Mytrafficlite.BGL which is 3rd from the bottom, but I cant open it. I get a window that says Windows can't open this file. Underneath it is

    Mytrafficlite.bgl

    VTBS_GROUND_LandClass.bgl

    VTBS_GROUND_WaterClass.bgl

  17. Sorry for double posting, but i just read the following -->

Why dont you try going into

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery and search there for BR2_LPMA.BGL. If there is a MyTrafficX directory inside Addon Scenery, try looking there.

Ok I checked in there Addon Scenery and there isn't a file BR2_LPMA.BGL It's not there, missing.

  18. Are you sure you are not using some third party mesh somewhere?

I did build my computer, but Im not the best at knowing what the term MESH is. What 3rd party mesh. My Traffic Lite, was the last thing I put on and Imagine Sim KLGA. I did have Traffic X on for about 30 minutes and removed it because it screwed up my parking spots. When I removed Traffic X, I had to do a repair with both FSX DVD's and Acceleration because

my tire smoke was gone and I wanted it back. The repair fixed that problem without having to do a full reinstall.

So does anyone know how to get into the My Traffic Lite so I can take out that "BR2_LPMA.BGL". Gaura Mohana suggested this in a previous post.

    Thank you

    Marc Anthony Storm

  19. I think your problem will be solved when you de-install (not manually remove!) Madeira and re-install it. Most likely the AFCAD file is not in the right location or is corrupted.

Thank you for the input, unfortunately I did uninstall from my computer and reinstall and it still shows up the same way. What I do notice is all the my traffic lite planes are up there on that

plateau. Perhaps it is something with the My Traffic lite. How do I get into that directory. Can anyone walk me through how to find it, so I can remove the LPMA from that file.

Thanks guys and I appreciate you taking the time to help.

  20. To me it seems like

    a. Your mesh settings are incorrect

    b. Mytraffix lite messed it up - try moving Aerosoft's madiera X to #1 on the scenery list. this should help.

I did as you said my friend and it didnt work same problem
