    Vfr Germany

    Hi,

    I have a similar problem, but have for the moment no other sceneries than those of Aerosoft installed like VFR Germany West and Nord as well as Megascenery Hawaii X.

    I also installed lately German airfields 1,2 and 3 as well as German Airports 2X together with Airports of Mexico City & Central X.

    Beside all this is also Austria X installed and UTX Europe & Canada as well as GEX USA/Canada/Alaska and FS Altitude Western Europe.

    When I wanted to do some flying in the Inselhüpfen area starting at Sylt, I constantly ran into an FSX freeze with the settings advised in the manual. I had also installed TrackIR 5 and seem to wrongly have thought that it was the cause of the problem.

    But after uninstalling it and go for a flight in FSX starting always in Sylt, then FSX frooze too and thus TrackIR couldn't be the problem. So did a few changes in the Library settings and unchecked also FS altitude, but to no avail.

    Yes, it went better in a first flight test after the Library settings change. Instead of flying just for about 10 to 15 minutes, I was able to fly from Sylt almost to Bremen Harbor till FSX said no more. I dunno know if this is due to that I had passed perhaps the problems in the scenery whereas I the other time flew right over it.

    What I do notice however is that the fps jumps like crazy between 10 to even a maximum of 80 sometimes in. And it even over just water scenery can drop sometimes to below 10 fps with the camera view pointed top-down to the water. How strange can that be because such a view creates normally one of the biggest and stable fps hits you can get in FSX?

    Another guess is to uninstall VFR Germany Nord, as I hadn't had none of these problems with VFR Germany West installed when it was installed together with Austria X, UTX, GEX, Hawaii X. I don't know if it will help.

    My idea is that if I let the scenery of the German Airfields as well as German Airports 2 X installed and reinstall VFR Germany Nord that it maybe could solve the problem due to the automatic updating vis-à-vis the airfields installed already within the region. But it's just a wild guess and if it doesn't, then I will be at a total loss in how to solve this issue here, as it's for the moment my last hope.

    So I would be very glad if someone has encountered the same situation without the Dan scenery present on his/her system and found a way to solve it.

    I have the same problem, but i do not have germany VFR. Every time i departure Sylt i get a CTD. Shaun and horst (developer) help me in this matter you can see the post in the below link.

    Something related about the combination of Airfields 2 and Helgoland and ship traffic. I do not see in your software Helgoland. So could be another isue. I have to make some more tries but look like if you disable the maritim traffic could be OK. Horst told me that they were working in an update that might help in this matter.

    I found more than 2 traffic files on GAF2

    Traffic_GAF2.bgl

    Traffic_fw_EDHK_cargo.bgl

    Traffic_fw_EDHK_custom.bgl

    traffic_fw_EDHK_Foerdedampfer.bgl

    traffic_fw_EDHK_helis.bgl

    Witch ones i have to modify?

    I think it's the combination of HelgolandX and GermanAirfields2. Both come with ship traffic, and it seems FSX doesn't like this very much. We'll be offering a patch for GAF2 soon, that might help on this matter. Until then disable the 2 traffic files in the GAF2-scenery folder (change BGL to "OFF").

    What does this X-Graphics actually do!

    It is a program like flight enviroment, enhaces the clouds, sky, wather or light. Also can change the airport textures but i have not select this feature.

    I used in combination with Active sky X, installing weather influenced textures.

    The trys were allways in FSX default clear weather, with out X-Graphics or Active Sky. Do you think could be related to this program?

    Hello kurocl,

    Now just try disabling the German airfields 1 LC entry and then try in day light.

    I suspect theres an issue with a texture and the landclass.

    Well that is the result of the test

    I disable German airfields 1 LC and no CTD (german airfields 2 and german airfields 2 LC enabled) a bit of shutters again, but OK

    As i told you i my last post i have the actualization for German airfields 1 installed and also i forgot to tell you, helgoland if helps you.

    Does the crash still happenif you disable the Airfields2 scenery?

    I just tried and no CTD when i disable Airfields2 scenery, after, i enabled the scenery, tried again and CTD.

    What i sould do?

    In the scenery library i have:

    German airfields 1

    German airfields 2

    German airfields 3

    German airports 2

    German airfields 1 LC

    German airfields 2 LC

    Okay have you installed any 3rd party ground textures, if so can you reload the defaults and then try the flight in the day.

    Nop, i had Ultimate terraix X europe, but i take it off because i do not like how it works with German Airfields. After unistall UTX, i have uninstalled and installed FSX one time.

    I have X Graphics (HIFI) but it wasn't on at the time of the tries.

    Well i tried two times at night, no CTD (outside view) shutters a lit of bit but OK.

    After, i tried at day. In outside view i get a CTD (tried two times). In Virtual cockpit view no CTD (again tried two times).

    I send you a picture where you can see the aprox place were the CTD happens.

    I have German Airfields 2 and 3 (of course 1) and German airports 2 installed. happens with the cessna from carenado and the Aerosoft twin otter (i did not try another planes but i will with the beaver and the digital aviation Cheyenne)

    Any ideas?

    Hello

    I have problems when i departure Westerland/Sylt (German airfields 1). When I follow the publicated departure or I follow and IFR plan, I always get a CTD between the NBD and the end/start of the ILS.

    I get the CTD with every addon aircraft (with default one i suffer high shutters, the frames drop from 20/30 to 2/4 when i pass the point i related you before but no CTD), the problem usually happens when i am in outside view, but i got it in VC view too, not as often but sometimes i got the same problem.

    I made a lot of tries, disabling software, taking down the sliders, reinstalls but nothing work. I found that the runways that appear in FSX menu have one degree more than the package ones.

    FSX: 15/33 - German Airfields 1 (sylt): 14/32

    could this make the CTD to happen?

    If so how can I resolve.

    You sould write a post in the digital aviation site, http://www.digital-aviation.de/forum/, there they have section where you can post you problems with the SP2 (beta).

    I do not install the SP2 yet but i had the same problem with the Cheyenne when i install the plane. Something to do with the Visual C++ 2005 SP1. In the aerosoft Faq & Updates you can find a fix for that matter. I do not know if it is the same issue.

    But in the digital aviation you can have better info.

    Aerosoft Sound Control For Twin Otter Problem

    i think I need a fix for the fix. The file AS_TWINOTTER_ASC_Interim_fix.zip installs into simobjects, instead of simobjects\airplaces which I assume was intended.

    update: OK I manually moved the file into my panels folders, but I don't get any click sounds. asc.dll is enabled and listed in my fsx.cfg, the aerosoft_sound_system_TW folder is installed under the 300 sound folder, but no clicks. Tried 300 modern and 100.

    I had the same problem, i found the planes on the simobjects folder. Cut them and past them at the simobjects/airplanes, overwrite the existing files and everything will be ok again.

    Aerosoft Sound Control For Twin Otter Problem

    Hi

    I just install the Aerosoft Sound Control For Twin Otter and i have encountered a problem. The textures of the panel anunciator have dissapear, you can see the black shells of the panel but not the anunciator signals, just empty boxes.

    The sound are great. I tried almost every switch, flaps too, and works perfect. Great job guys.

    Tow Truck For The Pushback In Fsx

    I have 2 questions but i was wondering when i am at the gate and i need pushback sometimes i can´t see no towtruck for the pushback.

    Should i increase the traffic in the Settings-Display to make it work?

    You should increase the airport vehicles to have more towtrucks or another airport vehicle.

    Snave, thanks. Obviously I did that. Navigraph "has been correctly formatted for use with the Trimble in the FA Cheyenne." You guys shouldn't sell this airplane on your site. First of all you advertise it with SID's STAR's etc, so why are you telling me to go to Navigraph? Number two this airplane has had problems with its GPS for YEARS!! On top of that I told you that DA blocked me from there forum, so why are you telling me to go to DA. The way I look at it, you sold me this thing, it doesn't work, so help. Makes sence to me. I thought you won an award for support?

    Pmdg 747-400 X Installation Problem

    Thanks a lot for your reply.

    i will try those tools again because last saturday tried them but have no idea how the tools works. Got some .dll error when I runned YASU asking me to add it to daemoon tools panel or somethig like that, i am not too expert in this matters. A try to, but i got frustrated too early and i delete them and contact aerosoft support.

    I will read those programs help pages more patient and try to get a solution.

    Pmdg 747-400 X Installation Problem

    I have the same problem with the 747 PMDG. It won't install because it detects an emulator that i never had. I already have a lot of aerosoft's boxed products: Piper Cheyenne, DHC-6 Twin Otter, DHC-2 Beaver, Dornier - 27, Heathrow Airport and my traffic and i never had this problem.

    I saw in this post that one of you found a solution installing two programs. I do not have much idea about those programs and how to make them work and i do not want to install programs that i am not going to use nomore than once.

    I wrote an email to aerosoft support and they relpy me with a succinct answer: "That error is due an emulator". They surely did not read the whole mail that i send them because in that mail i told them that do not have and never had this kind of programs.

    What can i do????????
