xxmrbubbles18xx 0
So I got this and the folder it wants to install to is C:/Users/Owner/Documents/Aerosoft. I restarted my pc and it didn't install but it's in there I can't find out how to install this. Thanks Ryan
KIE 20
Can you see the Add-on listed at the new Add-ons-View (added with update 4.3) on the Startup Screen?
xxmrbubbles18xx 0
Well, the thing is everything got installed to the folder and not in the addons/directory folder. What should be the folder it should be installing to? @KIE
KIE 20
I installed the Add-On to the same directory as you did and it works fine, so that can't be the problem here. To find out if P3D loads (or at least tries to load) the Add-On, check if it is listed in you Add-ons-View.
Emi 5161
Hi Ryan, we follow Lockheeds recommendations on the installation location here by putting the Airbus outside of P3Ds main folders. If the Airbus does not show in your simulator thereafter it could be an indication of some trouble letting P3D know the Airbus is there, maybe due to some rights issues. Try a reinstallation using this procedure please: 1) remove the product using the Windows Software control panel (do not manually delete the program files) 2) do a disk check (right click on the drive, select properties, select tools, select check now) 3) reboot your computer 4) disable the anti-virus software temporarily 5) install the product as administrator (right click the installer EXE file, then "run as administrator") 6) enable the anti-virus software 7) defragment your disk (NOT if you are using a SSD)
