William1 0 Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Is the weather radar supposed to work if i only have FSX steam edition and Aerosoft A320/321 and not ANY other addons like weather etc.? because i dont see any weather even if its raining and there is big clouds, or does it have to be really stormy to weather to start to show? also terrain doesn't show either. I read in some forum that i should install some navaids updates because the original fsx database is old but i want to ask you experts first before starting to install extra stuff. Yes, the Aerosoft WXR is completely independent from any used weather add-on as it reads the weather directly from the sim. 4 minutes ago, William1 said: also terrain doesn't show either. This is the relevant hint: you simply haven't increased the brightness for TERR and WXR on the ND. You should take a closer look on the ND brightness knob. There is more to see than just one knob...
