Sabretooth78 56
I just noticed today on the ILS approach to KMCO runway 36R (ILS ident IOJP) that the "J" character looked buggy in the little Ident/DME indication at the lower left of the PFD. So I tried it on another installation that I now only use for scenery design and noticed the same thing, and that it's actually smaller in the AirbusDisp and AirbusPFD font files on both machines. How I never noticed this before as I've flown this approach several times (not to mention others with that character) is beyond me. Please login to display this image. Since it doesn't seem to be a corruption or a bug, I'm curious what the purpose for having a smaller, almost subscript "J" is? Prevent confusion with "I"s and "U"s? The Dutch IJ digraph? Consequently I've also noticed that the "Q" in the AirbusDisp is also smaller.
G Sproson 23
No, that should show a regular J, I will pass this along and see if the Dev can get it fixed, but it may be a bit low on the line for now
