jpgmultimodal 61 Posted October 6, 2017 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Hello Mark, Ajaccio is quite a busy airport with 777 and 747 landing there among a good bit of other aircrafts. Everytime we had stopover there it was short sleeping as the life was quite enjoyable so we used it a lot for technical stops when crossing the Med both ways. Good to know that we are quite some people using the Dash 8 Q400 which to me is the mot advanced aircraft for plane simulation. They will be sponsoring me the rest of the tour and I have signed one of their long-term 50 year contracts. So far it has been great meeting everyone there, everyone friendly and willing to help out. James50 3 Posted December 9, 2017 Share Posted December 9, 2017 Hi Mark, thanks for comment. Yes, but I did 'cheat' a little by just opting for the one leg across the Pacific. I'm over the Rockies now and into Nebraska after flying to Kearney Regional on Thursday. I am hoping to come round the Bombardier ferry route via Gander and Iceland rather than the 767 across the Atlantic, but it's all a bit dependent.
