Kosta 9
(FPL-FSLA320-IN -A320/M -SDE1FGHIJ1RWXYZ/LB1 -LEPA0740 -N0447F400 MEROS UN853 LUMAS UM985 EKSID M985 NOSTA DCT NOPMU DCT ETPUB Q985 MALUG DCT ABTAN -LOWW0157 -PBN/A1B1C1D1L1O1S1 NAV/RNVD1E2A1 DOF/170306 REG/ PER/C) What I am doing is press "Find", then it plans the route, and this is the output I have in the window when I press Validate. And in your FP, Q985 is also not accepted, it says FL335 is not accepted. Doing DCT, green. Please login to display this image.
srcooke 422
Can you try using Find/Advanced. Using just the find option and selecting upper airways is using M985, technically an upper airway but limited to FL335
Kosta 9
Tried. Can't get any other result, still problem with EKSID. What should I select in Advanced?
srcooke 422
Spotted the difference, I used a B738 which sets a higher minimum altitude compared to the A320. Change the minimum to FL340: Please login to display this image.
srcooke 422
A temporary solution to the NG data problem is to add UM985 between EKSID and NOSTA to the user data base via the Airway Editor: Please login to display this image. You can then exclude M985 with a RAD entry, assigning a name of your choice: Please login to display this image. Responsibility for the EKSID - NOSTA segment is confirmed as that of Marseille ACC/Nice APP jurisdiction, Where UM985 is used with flight level range 195-500, M985 is not used. Kosta 9
Alright. With FL340 it worked out. More important to me was to understand what is going on, so if I encounter the problem in the future, I'll know where to look. Thank you for everything, I've learned a lot going through this thread!
