How to start Program with a .exe and .dll

Hello,

 

I tried to set VAP to launch but I get an error by the fact that it needs a .dll file to work.

 

Tried to enter the .dll path and name in parameters but it still does not work. I imagin that I'm not writting it properly.

 

So, how should I set the programstarter to open :

 

"C:\IVAO\IvAp v2\ivap_dllhost.exe" "C:\IVAO\IvAp v2\ivap_fsx.dll"

I never tried starting IVAP that way.

Tried, but new error message :

 

"Failed to load the specified DLL, please verify if IVAP is installed correct
C:\IVAO\Ivap (126)"

 

After that, I can run IVAP manually with no problem.

I don't fly IVAO so don't have the app, but as an alternative to SIMstarter NG do you have the registered version of FSUIPC4?   If so, you might try Pete Dowson's suggestion to see if you encounter the same issues.

 

There is also a mention on the Thair site of using a bootstrap file in the DLL.XML file

 

A third option might be to register the DLL with regsvr32.exe and try calling the .exe without the dll as a parameter.
