kymh 2
I have many aircraft add-ons that show just fine in the list of aircraft in SIMstarter. Unfortunately, two of my favourite aircraft do not show. These are the Realair Turbo Duke V2 and the RealAir Legacy V2. These two aircraft are installed outside of the P3D folder and are pathed within Prepar3D.cfg as follows:- SimObjectPaths.0=H:\Progs\RealAir\Turbine Duke V2 P3D3\SimObjects\Airplanes SimObjectPaths.1=H:\Progs\RealAir\Legacy V2 P3D3\SimObjects\Airplanes How would I go about having thses two aircraft show in the list? Using (from the menu) Tools\Refresh Aircraftslist does not help. Regards Kym
airernie 7
Are the two folders checked in Program Settings -> SimObjects and 3rd Party tab?
Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted April 12, 2016 Developer Share Posted April 12, 2016 The main problem seems to be that both entries are part of the prepar3d.cfg. From P3Dv2.5 and higher SimObjects will be handled at simobjects.cfg as related at the Prepar3D SDK - or do I miss something? Please comment both entries and add them both at the "SimObjects Manager" or by hand at the simObjects.cfg located here: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\simobjects.cfg

Both aircraft already existed in simobjects.cfg and I commented out the two entries in prepar3d.cfg. Unfortunately it made no difference. After attempting your possible solution, I read Ernest's reply above and this was the solution. I obviously didn't look hard enough. The more I use SIMstarter NG the more I appreciate it's value. Thanks again. Regards Kym

seippg 3
It's not working for me. I made sure Duke's the folder was ticked in the Progam Settings. The obvious workaround was to run P3D to the Startup Screen and select the Turbine Duke from the aircraft list there. Gregg

I had two entries for the Duke (one I added manually the first time the problem happened). When I removed that entry the Duke showed up in the list. So, all is good. A bit tricky but it was a guess and it worked nonetheless. Gregg
