Difference between International and Long Range

sorry if this question might seem dumb, but I searched in the manual and in the forum for an explanation and I didnt find it.

My question is : what is the difference between International flight and Long Range flight in the Fuel policy screen, and the difference between the various type of operation of a flight ? (pag. 46 of the manual, second chapter)

Where I can see the differences and the parameters ?

Let say I want to plan a flight from LEMD to SCEL or a flight from SCEL to SVMI, where I can see and then decide, if I should choose International or Long Range ?
