wandering around the net I found this petition. I think it's very interesting.

As for the petition, in my personal view, there is no chance for this merge and no petion will change it.

From my experience and knowledge I can say VATSIM and IVAO founders and governors have quite different approaches to what the virtual network should be like.

I won't go into details not to stir the pot in any way, so I will just say I have seen such ideas before and nothing ever worked.

People who spent some time with both networks will tell you there are some differences which, in some cases, might be called significant.

For that reason, even though it might seem nice to have just one network, seeing VATSIM and IVAO merged is like wishing to have Airbusboeing aircraft.
