Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 14, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted January 14, 2014 We are getting a lot of questions about P3d v2 compatibility the last weeks and I like to make a very clear statement on that. Prepar3d and Prepar3d v2 are different products, just as FSX and FS9 are different. They share some parts and a lot of FS2004 products will run in FSX, but unless we put that clearly on the product page it's not something we can guarantee or support. So if the product page states a product is compatible with Prepar3d means it is compatible with Prepar3d and might work or might not work in Prepar3d v2. We decided not to change all product pages because that implies we would also have to change the thousands upon thousand of boxed products in our warehouses. We also feel the product pages are correct, they state if a product is compatible with Prepar3d and do not mention Prepar3d v2. We do hope to offer better Prepar3d v2 compatibility soon and are discussing with Lockheed what would be needed for that. We are very cautious about claiming compatibility and will only do so if all features work. So including all lights in the correct brightness etc.
