mad 0
Hello, I am new to the forum and am having a few problems getting FS X started with new downloads. I am used to working on a Mac computer and tried to download info to my PC, I screwed things up so bad I had to have a computer whiz take the computer and fix it. My basic question is this: I have several FS X files and folders on the comptuer and I am not sure were I should put my new downloads? I plan on downloading new planes, ridge soaring, and scenery. Any other information that would help is appreciated, Happy New Year to All. B21 19
most things will go in a sub-folder ofC:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\e.g. aircraft go into a folder called SimObjects/Aircraft from there.Any download you get should have a README file with instructions of where to put it. My advice at this stage is don't get fancy. The simplest intro to soaring is with the standard installed DG808S and a soaring mission.if you have a problem with a specific install feel free to ask.http://carrier.csi.cam.ac.uk/forsterlewis/...m/fsx/missions/good luck,Ian Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/24499-help-were-to-put-fs-x-downloads/#findComment-152160 Share on other sites
