Bae146 FMC

I recently purchased the stand-alone version of Eurowings Bae-146 from simflight. I am using FS9 on Windows XP. When attempting to call the FMC as described in the maual, I receive this error message:

Run-time error '429':

ActiveX component can't create object

Can anyone help?

Hi Dom

I have heard of this particular error before, but I can’t for the life of me remember what the fix was, but you could try the information contained in the post at the Digital Aviation site at

for information I do have the Eurowings pack installed and the FMC contained in the pack runs correctly, but then again I do have the files mentioned in the above post in the system32 folder of my windowsXP set up.
