P3D, Honeycomb Bravo.

let's say you want to assign "LEFT TABLET TOGGLE" to one of bravo toggle switches.

it is aircraft custom event and hex id is 0x12333.

can you assign this in configurator app?

it can be done in x-plane configurator easily.

but in case of p3d, have tried several ways I can think of but no luck.

thank you!

ah, it is TFDI 717.

and you can find event/lvar list here

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J5wEHclrGz-CCovcIof7uAhuH8lE34oRb4mseG4zcq8/edit?usp=sharing

and let me explain the exact situation.

It is the fuel cut off valve on throttle(aircraft).

it has lvars which are B717_thr_fuel_left / B717_thr_fuel_right.

if I set this value via configurator, it only moves the switch. meaning just the animation, no actual/real cutting off.

(and no sound effect too btw)

so I would like to assign LEFT FUEL VALVE(0x121A6) / RIGHT FUEL VALVE(0x121A7) which are custom events, not lvars.

well if configurator doesn't support custom events, I'll have to use linda and I really don't want to...

ps: maybe this is why PMDG translator is installed separately? just a hunch

Thank you!!!

Hi,

I made several tests but wasn't able to address custom events either yet.
However, this would work with Axis&Ohs using the RPN notation :
Valve ON :
1 (K>0x121A6)

Valve OFF :
0 (K>0x121A6)

Providing the the value required to set the event is 1 and 0.
Otherwise this has to be changed to the required value.
