Profiles for Xplane 12 Default aircraft.

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm the network technician in a Public school that has started up a Highschool course to start kids on thier way to careers in Aviation. I got saddled with this setup process because I'm the gamer of the departmentm, but I'm not a simmer at all.

For our "Basic" sim setups, the teacher has Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo/Charlie setups on each of the rigs. They're using Xplane 12 as the Sim on these machines.

I was able to get the controls working for basic control of the aircraft easy enough, but the teacher is wanting things like the Autopilot and LEDs on the Bravo to integrate with the Sim. I got the impression from random google searches that it seems like they're going to have to create profiles for each and every plane that fulfil the needs have. Am I correct or should there be profiles for the default Aircraft for Xplane 12 already in Xplane/the configurator? If there are not profiles already in the Sim files or Driver, Is there a trusted location to download such files from?

Thanks for your help getting these kids learning.

There will be different profiles according to different aircraft indeed.

This is because aircraft addons are made by different editors and have therefore their own interfacing methods.

Please check our download section to discover some ready made profiles.

Our hardware section also include articles explaining some profile programming techniques.
