Simcheck A300 in FSX on Windows 10 problems

I recently reinstalled FSX on my Windows 10 computer, because I love that plane, and not available for P3DV4.5.   I reinstalled Simcheck A300 and the FMC upgrade.    I downloaded Windows 7 fonts, and added them to Windows 10, and now the FMC is working.    I still have two problems.   I cannot get the APU to start, or the Comm panel to power up.   On the APU panel, I have all three switches on, fuel is on in the fuel panel, and when I hit start on the APU panel, the light comes on, but nothing happens.    As for the comm panel, I have power to plane, and turned on the radio switches, but the comm panel still dark.   Anyone else using this with those problems in Windows 10, and how can I get those two things to work?

Update.   I found if I used the switches in the VC, then they work.   ONly run into problems with trying to use some of the pop up 2D panels.   So it does work, just have to stay in VC

A couple more question.  I can’t get the doors to open.  I tried the standard Ctrl E, and then 1, 2, 3, and 4 with no luck.  Any ideas how to get them to open?
