It could be a good idea for you to learn the names used for the different versions of the Microsoft Simulator generations, as you would have saved yourself some money and wasted time. There is no such thing as what you're calling "FSX2020" and it's certainly not a later version of "FSX." FSX is short for Flight Simulator 10 (X = Roman numeral 10). It was released in 2006 and is the last of the older generation of Microsoft flight sims and architecture. Here's a link to a helpful Wikipedia article on the more recent versions. The new Microsoft Flight Simulator released last August is typically called simply MFS or MSFS and sometimes with 2020 after.

The PMDG product you bought is for FSX, and will not run on the new Microsoft sim. It's utterly incompatible, as is indeed any and all FSX/FSX:SE (Steam Edition)/P3D any version add ons. While PMDG is working on a Boeing 737 for the new sim, it's over a year away.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
