Hi there folks!

First off, i want to congratulate you on work for AES! This is an amazing add-on! I'm currently parked at Gate A7 at KMSY and everything (service vehicles and marshall) are all in position but the gate has not moved. I've downloaded the latest version of 1.93 (as of Jan 2) and it works fine at KLGA, KEWR and KCVG (the deicing is a nice touch!) But I have no gate movement at KMSY (A7).

Please help :)

Thanks

Martin

P.s. I hope some Canadian airports are in the works for the next version!

Hi,

did you park following the signs of the marshaller, or did you place the Aircraft via FS Menu.

Can you try to press F8 in the AES Menu to move the aircraft to the correct position and see if the jetway then move.

I will check A7 later.

Ok,

checked A7 with PMDG 747 and default B737, jetway is moving.

Could be critical, if you not stop direct at STOP Sign, because then the jetway is to long to reach the door.

Hi Oliver,

I see what you mean by exact placement. These gates (A's and B's) are very fussy with placement. I tried parking with engines as well as positioning from the airports menu: both required repositioning from the AES menu with a PSS A320. I had no problems with the C terminal gates (And no problems at other airports - not that I would call this a problem really). In real life, tight gates (like A7 at MSY) usually require a tow-in from a taxi hold point (cyyz required this at many gates at the old T1 and east end of the old T2, and, this may be another feature you can add to 2.0, seeing that you already have a reverse tow into position (a nice feature at CDG!) :D ).

Thanks for all your help. You have an ingenious product here and frankly, one of the, if not the best FS tool to come along in a while. I'm looking forward to further developments.

Thanks

Martin
