SimPilot767 157
Hello, yesterday i installed Vista home premium. i further installed FSX und SP1 and everything worked well. then i installed MyTrafficX (5.1 CD upgrade) and all AI traffic - even the default - was gone! I managed to recreate my default AI traffic by renaming trafficAircraft.bgl.passive but no luck with MyTrafficX. I also have no MyTrafficX toolbox entry in FSX ! please help - AI traffic is essential Thanks, Timo
Shaun Fletcher 571
Hello Timo, Can you check to see if you have the following entry below is in the dll.xml file which should be located in the following folder. C:Documents and Settings*Username*Application DataMicrosoftFSX Not sure if Vista's structure is the same but this is the location in XP. <Launch> <Name>Traffic Toolbox</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>MyTraffictraffictoolbox.dll</Path> </Launch> If not then try to add it above line </SimBase> If after that it doesn't wotk then try adding the traffictoolbox.dll which is attached to this post here. Have you also run the Select AI Year Utility which can be found in the Start Menu under Aerosoft/MyTrafficX to see if that gets you any traffic. SimPilot767 157
Hello Shaun, thanks for your help. i uninstalled mytrafficx und fsx and installed it again as "admin". now i run fsx as "admin" and mytrafficx works fine except the traffictoolbox, but that doesn´t matter. it was much more easy under windows xp without that admin/user problems... thanks, Timo
