Keep having to configure AES on certain aircraft

I keep losing my aircraft configurations.  There's a freeware aircraft that I use to "deadhead" between cities, and today, AES didn't work when I returned to Atlanta.  So I had to run AES and tell it where the doors were.  However, I had it configured properly earlier for other "deadhead" trips, but updated AES recently.  Does AES lose the custom configurations when it updates?

No, the configuration data are not lost. But you should always run AESHelp and FSX as Administrator (rightclick on the exe and choose "Run as Administrator").
