  1. Oh deary deary me, looks like I spoke too soon. The push-back ballet performance with all its twirls and twists during my push-back is back !
  2. I should like to make one final entry on this subject and do so hope Mr Tom is still reading this thread. I have the past few days been chasing another issue I have been plagued with on the FS2020 I use. I finally bit the bullet and did a full unload/load of FS2020 a couple of days ago. After setting up the usual add-ons, I got it back to almost where it was. Thought I might have one last shot at this perennial issue I (we) have been having with the pushback pro programme. I have be using the ambitious-pilots free programme in the meantime for which I am more than grateful to these people for their work. I removed all traces of the ambitious-pilots edition from the community folder and re-loaded the Pushback-Pro. I was unexpectedly rewarded with the semblance of a reasonable pushback without the violent swings we all suffer ! !. Not perferct, and some very unusal wing bending upwards on the push but nonetheless, seems to work. I am wonerding if this might improve with time and a cache build up so I will have to accept it as is. I have absolutely no idea where to pinpoint the cause of this problem but as the community folder is more or less the same, perhaps, just perhaps it was a corrut file in the game. Guess I'll never know.
  3. Just popped back for a look in the vain hope there might be a fix for this in sight. I tend to agree that we have all be unceremoniously dumped !
  4. Don't hold your breath . . .
  5. I suppose I will just have to get used to my Gatwick push-backs now going via Heathrow ! ! Roll on FS2024 - the only light in the tunnel for me that will sort this out, thanks Aerosoft.
  6. I am beginning to suspect that this is now dead in the water - I would love to be proved wrong !
  7. The silence now is deafening - I shall ask again, is there any likelihood of Aerosoft ever fixing this for us few ? Tom ?
  8. I have just noted on Flightsim.to there are a few grumbles of exactly the same issues we all face. Any time-line on the fix for this yet Tom ?
  9. Thank you Tom, always appreciate your input, now I know I'm not going mad !
  10. Good news indeed and my thanks, can you kindly advise where to find the update ?
  11. @gimbalaxis ; That makes a fair bit of sense to me, not sure what Mr Tom makes of that. My gaming machine only runs FS2020 and everything stored on a 4TB NVME M2 SSD. For the last 2 or 3 days I did a clean reinstall of W10 and loaded only the Sim and transferred to the community folder only the Fenix machine and the pushback pro. The FS 2020 reinstall also included update 15 and with very little else. For most of the time I can still manage 1 Kt push-backs and notice even on those the aeroplane will not push in a nice straight line when required but tends to twitch either either side of the preplanned route. Clearly not satisfactory but I for one will not be thumping the table for a refund and being ever the optimist I'm sure the root cause of the problem will be found eventually. The whole reload project took the best part of 2 days and I'm still tidying up a lot of loose ends with other programs. I can't for the life of me see how there is anything that sticks out as a problem causing the pirouetting except something in update 15 it doesn't like. When I first downloaded the pushback pro it worked like a dream, and the whole thing went south after the update 15. I think possibly we all owe Tom a bit of leeway here as I doubt he is sitting back hoping the problem will go away without any help from Aerosoft and the developers. All the comments here on this thread have been very engaging, and I for one look forward to a final fix.
  12. I'm done - not even a 1 Kt pushback works anymore . . .
  13. I've spent the last few days clearing out everything in the community folder and did in this process, find several corrupted files, all of no particular type. I had hoped this might be a last-ditch winner for me but it was not to be. Everything reloaded, confirmed that the ambitious pilots freeware pushback has been completely removed. And reloaded everything again for a second attempt. I only tried the Fenix aircraft and the problem still persists. I can however after several attempts manage a pushback at 1 Kt speed, and no more. A small step forward I guess but still awaiting your magic dust Tom to sort this out, cheers one and all
  14. Thank you Tom. I would like to add that of course this issue does not significantly affect the overall wonderful sim experience I enjoy. I am a licensed aircraft engineer recently retired after nearly 50 years. In our business we need to fix problems and leaving anything pending preys on the mind. That is the bigger problem for me, I know it still lingers in the background and needs to be fixed before I can sleep easy. Hope that doesn't sound too trite but that is how I am wired. Always really appreciate not only yours, but all the other flight sim community members across the board for their boundless help. If nothing comes in the near future I will again re-consider a full re-install of FS2020 but WITHOUT update 15 ! - enjoy the day.
  15. Me again. Thanks for the above. I found another aerosoft-toolbar-pushback file in my C drive as you suggest. File removed and planned a new, heart in mouth, pushback. First attempt at 4 kts, then 3 kts then 2 kts then 1 kt. ! ! ! All failed miserably and made not the slightest bit of difference. This is driving me insane ! !
