Ich bin die letzten Tage einige Male von da gestartet und auch gelandet, ich hatte keine Probleme.

I don't know what's better about the TrackClipPro, I've never been interested because I've been very happy with the simple clip for years. When the clip is outside the detection range, it gets a little tricky, for example when you have a far-reaching overhead panel and the reflectors are no longer detected. The same, of course, with an extreme downward view. But in the end I still found the right angle 😉 And if the Pro gets out of the field of vision, it will have the same problem, I think.

Yes! I try to put as much as possible commands to my HOTAS.

I never fly in a flight simulator without a TrackIR. Especially not in military ones, where the fast overview is even more important. Definitely purchase it, it's worth it!

I had, when I signed up for this event, also thought about which airplane I could do it with. I wanted in any case a Pre-70ties aircraft and also fly the route from VOR to Vor. I have then looked around which add-ons are offered and had among other things also the DC-6 in the closer selection. In the end I decided to go for a 2-engine airplane. However, the DC-6 sounds great, I should keep an eye on it. 😉 PACX I had also considered, but for the circumnavigation of the earth I did not want to use. If the virtual KLM sends you to the EDDB you can drop by for a virtual beer 😉

Genau das war auch mein Gedanke. Deswegen würde ich, wenn es ein nächstes Mal gibt wohl wieder so´ne olle Kiste nehmen. 😉 That was exactly my thought. That's why, if there is a next time, I would probably take such an old plane again. 😉

Vielen lieben Dank, Bernd! Es ist schon komisch, dass die Reise nun vorbei ist und es erst mal keine Hangar-Partys und Ähnliches gibt. Jetzt erst mal Pause und dann kommt hoffentlich bald eine neue Reise in 80 Tagen um die Welt. Es müssen ja keine vier Jahre sein, aber auch nicht zu oft. Am Ende dachte ich noch, beim nächsten Mal nehme ich was moderneres, mit mehr Reichweite und fortschrittlichen Navigationsmöglichkeiten. Aber jetzt bin ich mir gar nicht mehr so sicher und wer weiß, was es beim nächsten Mal für neue alte Flugzeuge verfügbar sind. 😉 Lass es Dir auch gut gehen und man sieht sich! 😉 Thank you very much, Bernd! It's funny that the trip is over now and there are no more Hangar Parties and the kind of things for a while. Now first a break and then hopefully soon comes a new trip in 80 days around the world. It doesn't have to be four years, but not too often either. At the end I thought, next time I'll take something more modern, with more range and advanced navigation options.
