  1. Hello Gianni,

There is a mention of this issue in the FAQs/Updates section on the German side of the site.

So basically you need to ignore it, if the problem still exists then just disable the Virus Killer temporarily.

The same problem here. I have no virusscanner on my FS computer but still get the message with the #5000 notification.

However I have manually removed the EDDF 2005 version (as Mathijs advised through mail) I still have the MAF entry in my software list of the control panel.

When now trying to install the 2008 version of EDDF for FS9, I still end up with the message the previous EDDF version should be removed and when attempting to do, I get the viruswarning again.

Any help to get EDDF 2008 running would be welcomed.

  2. It might be "after office" hours. Most companies closing arround17 hours, so might Aerosoft. Maybe wait till tomorrow and I am almost sure you will get the so much wanted e-mail from Aerosoft. (you don't regret buying Heathrow, as it is a great airport)

  3. The link to the Saitek forum threads are:

    http://www.saitekforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=148

In this thread are several posts.

All seems to work here OK now also, after deleting all asignments to buttons within FS.

You can asign all tasks to buttons in SST, which you are able to asign within FSX's asignment menu. You tell a button what keystrokes is being expected when you touch the button. The SST software is the interface between the button and the keyboard.

  4. On the Saitek forum there is a possible solution:

Delete all button asignment for the yoke in FS, and asign functions through the SST software included with the Yoke and Throttle system. This is helping some of the people complaining, maybe it is working for some of the visitors at this forum too.

  5. Same here.

First I thought it has something to do with the GoFlight software I had installed, but after de-installation of GoFlight software, the problems went down, but didn't disappear completely. Don't know what causes this problem at this moment.

On the Saitek site more and more people are reporting the same kind of problems out of the box. I assume they work on a solution.

Hope the problem will be solved soon.

  6. After installing EDDF, I enjoyed the ambiant sounds (firebrigade truck) for some time, I lost all these sounds. I also lost the sounds on PHNL (Lago). A fresh install of each one of these don't solve the problem. (I uninstalled both airfields first, started FS9 to build a new scenery library without these two fields, installed EDDF again and no sounds are present, installed PHNL again, and also no sounds there). Is there someone knowing what my problem might be?

Aircraft sounds from MyTraffic 2006 are there, it is just the sounds coming with the scenery being abcent.

  7. It is just what you're expecting of the event.

When you expect a lot of new software, hardware and other developments, you can't blame the organisation it is not there. The organisation has brought the exhibitors together, and it is up to the exhibitors what they're showing. There is no influence of the organisation on what is being exhibited. If you expect a lot of user groups and VA's, IFC is not the place to be, you've to go to Lelystad for that kind of event. I like both events.

IFC's goal of the convention is to bring people together, exhibitors and visitors and I think this goal has been reached very well. 2611 people came through the door. Comparing to the sports aviation show is not fair I think, as this is a very wide ranged show, and flightsimming group is a very small group of people.

To cover for the costs you need to make a calculation: costs devided by visitors. This makes the price you pay at the door. The sports show has many more visitors so the price could be less then the IFC show.

I think the IFC NEC show was a very good one, all the big players within the flightsimulation where present, and visitors where able to meet and greet the people behind the companies.

I will be going to the 2007 edition again, and also go to Lelystad again this year. It is a different kind of show. The focus of FSWeekend is a show for and by flightsimmers. It is unique in the world, there is no such show anywhere else in the world.

    Just my two cents,

  8. Same here, but the message here is I have to point to the FLKeeper.msi.

I have done a search through my entire HD by windows, but this file is not excisting on my system, at least windows can't find it for me. What is the next step I have to do, to get the update working?
