Looks stunning! This is certainly a must-buy for me.

Would you consider doing EKCH at some point? The current offering is outdated and leaves much to be desired in my opinion. EKCH done to the same standard as this ENGM scenery would be just outstanding.

    Thank you.

Another dev, which made EKBI, is doing EKCH at the moment. I think it will be better than the current option, and dont think it will make sense from a business point of view for Jo Erlend to work on EKCH too

    Hallo,

i have a question about how complex the systems of the aircraft gonna work, for the reference i would take the PMDG 737, for me its amazing simulated aircaft, for example if u take the 600 the 700 and the 800, they all heve even their own flight model like the real aircraft,  also the specific systems are simulated,

gonna the A330 have similar deep level of simulation or less detailed ?

The aircraft will be less detailled than the PMDG or Fenix, but will feature everything required to day-to-day operations. So it should be more or less the same depth as the CRJ.

I agree with Aerosoft ideas on modelling aircrafts and I'm looking forward to fly this lovely bird. Its right to focus to the cockpit and the outside stuff however, I don't see a modelled cabin is needed as we want to fly the aircraft not to walk around inside the plane. But, I suggest that if you do glassy cabin windows as we can see the seats from outside view when you zoom in that will be ideal I don't think we need more details than that. I dragged an image for depicting my view.

They plan to use the a parallax effect, so it won't be dark. You'll actually see the seats etc from the outside, but not from the inside.

Basically, a 3d parallax effect is a 2d image that give a sense of depth. IF well done, it can reach the exact same amount of detail / "sense of reality" as a 3d modelled cabin :)

On this photo, I have the impression of seeing decals instead of 3D windows like on the CRJ or the PMDG 737

If I remember well, Mathijs told us it won't feature a modeled cabin. They will use a very advanced parallax effect, to create the same feeling. All of this in order to save performances.

Note : I may be wrong, and maybe I don't remember well. Correct me if it's wrong :)

  5. This looks amazing, really looking forward this beauty ! Quick question, I searched through this thread and haven't been able to find an answer, so my apologies If you already answered it.

Do you know if it would've been possible to be able to open cockpit's windows, the same way this have been done in the Fenix A320 ? It really add a lot when taxiing/starting the aircraft, and would be amazing your a330 !

    And, will you add cockpit's sun-shields ?

    Greetings from France,

Any reason why it is not possible to search in this topic? Moderators complaining about frequently asked questions but leave out an important search function amazes me.

Go to "Search" in the top right of the screen.

    Click on "This Topic".

    Thank you for checking this.

I bought the scenery yesterday on contrail shop and there was clearla stated that the version is 1.1.0 and VDGS was mentioned in the description.

I will try to uninstall/install the scenery and see if it works.

When using Contrails, the VDGS isnt installed automatically. You have to install the VDGS module through AerosoftOne, as Contrails doesnt support this depencency yet.

The wind parks are also starting to take shape. Over 2500 turbines have been placed. I think they are a bit high in the water, anybody any comment on that? These turbines are the smaller, slightly older type btw.

To be honest, It looks kinda good in my opinion! I don't think they're that high in the water, looks real

    Hello ,

Just a quick question - Will there be correct land elevation ? especially around stand 31 area ? cause in ORBX version this is not done well , just flat texture and it really does not look good at all . I know , just minor detail  :D but still .
