  1. Is there a way to hide the pilot's flight yoke? I can't see around it to adjust the altimeter and other settings. It's really in the way.
  2. No errors in flight plan according to PFPX. I run the validater after I plan a flight, no errors found. I think the CRJ Pro is full of bugs and incompatibilities with P3Dv4 hotfix 2. For example, I try a flight this morning and while the aircraft--crj 700 was at the stand (gate) the aircraft crashes! P3D gives me an error message in the green bar that it was a crash! Reload the sim and try again. This time the aircraft is in free moving state all over the airport! I don't know what I did to throw the aircraft into this condition, again shut down P3D. I don't thin Aerosoft willingly admits that it's CRJ Pro bundle is buggy, that's my point of view. I am almost ready to give up on learning the CRJ and just stick to the Airbus Pro bundle and look else where for addon aircraft.
  3. I am earnestly trying to learn to fly the CRJ 700 Pro and it's a very steep learning curve especially when the documentation doesn't contain adequate information. Case in point: why won't the fms take a flight plan entered in the route position? I am using PFPX as my flight planning software and export the flight plan to the correct folder for CRJ Pro and when I go to enter the file name at the route position on the fms, I get an error message as "load error". What am I doing wrong? I use the Navigraph Data manager to update all my aircraft and addons but in the init stage, the fms doesn't show the correct airac cycle which is 2001. How to fix these issues. Thanks.
  4. I am trying to do the step by step tutorial with the crj 700 pro but no matter what livery I choose, I get a CTD. I have attached the content error file. Is this a bug with the CRJ Pro? I really would like to learn how to fly this aircraft. I have the latest version updated through the Aerosoft updater and P3D ver 4.5 with hotfix 2. I tried to load the crj 900, same CTD. I open P3D with the Aerosoft A319 as my default aircraft and home airport. All help or advice is appreciated. Thanks. ContentErrors.txt
  5. In an earlier post, Mathias stated that there maybe new voice sets in 2019, I don't see any new voice sets. Could the voice sets from Airbus Extended be imported and used? New voice sets would most definitely add a new dimension to the Airbus Professional fleet. As far as making my own voice sets, that's not possible. I am surprised with the redo of Airbus Extended into Professional that the voice sets weren't updated also. There is a third party set of cabin crews announcements out there but I am not sure if they would be compatible with Airbus Professional. How would you turn off the native voice sets to use the third party ones? Just wondering.

  8. I have noticed that when I enter destination data into the fmc, I lose the top of descent distance. I was wondering is it better to wait to enter the destination data till after I reach top of descent? The tutorial wasn't much help on this subject. So, at what point should this data be entered for a proper approach to the runway?
  9. I have tried to download the update for the Airbus A319 Professional from Flight Sim Store but they stated that they have not received the update from Aerosoft as of yet. I did download the update for the Airbus A320-321 but need the A319. What should I do at this point?
  10. Ok, I am flying the A319 so the fuel calculations done by AS fuel planner are not accurate? I should use the figures from Simbrief, is that correct? Would doubling or even tripling the miles in the AS fuel planner provide me with enough fuel? Let me get this straight: Use Simbrief's fuel calculations and skip the AS fuel planner. However, checking Simbrief's OFP, there is an entry labeled G/C DIST and it has the same number as the AS fuel planner for the distance. Finally, how much of an influence does the Cost Index have on fuel consumption? Does it really matter in the sim?
  11. I have the same issue. I will post the AS fuel plan and the plan from Simbrief. I don't know what else I can do short of adding more miles to the planner. Should have been adequate but ran out of fuel and the aircraft shut down.
  12. Dave, I took your suggestion and still run out of fuel! Here is the screen shot of the fuel planner. It should have been sufficient but I don't know what I am doing wrong. Should I just increase the distance? Also the Simbrief flight plan.

I think I found the solution to my issue: I use the built in fuel planner and even add some fuel (I always generate a load sheet) just finished a flight from KDTW to KATL, and it happened again but this time I was watching---I simply ran out of fuel! However, the batteries didn't keep the flight instruments on along with the avionics, so I feel out of the sky. I am wondering if the built in fuel planner under estimates the amount of fuel needed even if I had hundred miles or so. That's something I am going to watch for my next fight. I am wondering if Simbrief's fuel planning is more accurate and maybe should use that instead. However, I found the solution! Thank you for all your help in resolving this issue. Merry Christmas!

  16. Mathias, I have included the log files and a screen shot to help in this matter. I don't think your attitude is productive in solving this issue. I have given all the data I have in order to solve this unusual issue. If it's an issue with the code, say so and then issue a hot fix; if it's an issue with my computer system, say so and how can I rectify the issue. I am concerned that if I spend more money on Aerosoft products, I will once again have an issue. I realize that the Aerobus Pro aircraft is a rework of your 32 bit aircraft for FSX and not just a port over like some software providers are doing. As far as tens of thousands of customers not seeing this issue, there are a few on this forum who have experienced the same issue so it's not like it's not an unknown issue, yes it's rare but not unheard of. Finally, quite frankly the help given has not been too helpful, I was looking for a clear cut solution to this issue and I will reevaluate my purchase options to include Aerosoft products should an aircraft be developed that I would like to purchase, say the A350. I look forward to working with you or whomever is assigned to this issue. Cheers.
  17. I have chosen the A319 aircraft and then select the airport and gate I would like to use, then I save the file and make it my default startup. When I load P3D, it loads the saved file saved as my default aircraft and airport. I guess Aerosoft is not going to help me in resolving this issue with all the data I have provided. Not very good customer support. If the data and files supplied isn't enough, I don't know what else I can do. I will think twice before I purchase another Aerosoft aircraft.
  18. No, I have saved a profile with the A319 at my home airport which loads up as the default aircraft and location. What is puzzling is that it blacks out around a hour into the flight and is preceded by clicking sounds as if all of the power switches are turned off.
  19. I reinstalled A318-A321 again. In a beautiful flight from Atlanta, GA KATL to Detroit, Michigan KDTW at 38,000 134 miles from TOD it happened again--third time!--the flight instruments blinked three times and each time I hear a click as if a switch is being thrown and then black out.   20. Once again, the checklist for descent preparation was not triggered by my flight, also the approach and landing checklists were not working. I don't know what am I doing wrong that prevents the checklists from starting. I landed the flight without the checklists but would like to know why these checklists are so intermittent. In the many YouTube videos on the AeroSoft A319, especially the one by Q8 Pilot in which he used the automated checklists and they worked just fine. I am puzzled. Anyone else having issues with the checklists?
  21. This is for Mathias, it happened again on approach to KMSP after a hour and half flight, I was making the final turn when I hear a click and everything shuts down. I have included a screen shot. Why does this happen? Is it an out of memory issue? I have in the background: Navigraph charts, Active Sky weather and that's it.

  23. Hi all, I am having a bit of a time flying the new CRJ Professional which is my first exposure to the CRJ's. I have the very nice Airbus Professional bundle and that''s a pleasure to fly. I follow the checklists, read and reread all the documentation and even read and printed out pages from the excellent guide by Chuck, but it's still a handful for one pilot to handle and at times it gets frustrating. Are there any experienced CRJ pilots that have some tips or suggestions for a newbie CRJ pilot? It would be nice to be able to have switchable automation on the CRJ's, like an automatic checklist or active first officer. Thanks.
