Well, the thing with it not knowing which runway I'm landing at is really a pain in the neck.
As for the rest, it was my fault, or even better, the weather's... Jesus!

This is frustrating. Autopilot was turned on after selecting cruise and off before landing mode, respecting the 1000 ft AGL rule.
I dont understand the bad rating on landing. For the procedure I was supposed to have the NAV1 tuned to IES (ILS for rwy 4), to get DME readings for an NDB/DME RWY22 approach. I corrected the OBS to the correct QFU of the runway I was landing at, made a fine approach and landing and yet the worst landing score I ever got. :angry:

Part 1 :: Leg 7 :: Oslo - Vagar
After a good night spent in Oslo, We are now moving definitely North. Faeroe Islands is the destination, with the difficult approach to Vagar coming up!
The weather forecast there is not very pleasing, and the runway is quite short for our A320, so brace fo impact!
Parked at Oslo, preparing the upcoming flight
Pushback and engine start
Taxiing
CFTO
Climbing out of Oslo. Beautiful views.
The Portuguese colours of TAP PORTUGAL up North! Enjoy the views!
Top of Descent. Be ready for the approach to Vagar.
There it is, between the clouds
Notice the offset ILS approach. (gotta hate the defauls FSX scenery!)
A Perfect touchdown. Soft, right on the threshold, with runway to spare!
Full reverse

Hi guys, just landed @ Vagar, and indeed the "not lined up problem" appeared!
Besides, it kept bugging me because the approach is an offset ILS.
annoying, indeed!
And flying an airbus without AP from below 6000ft. is unfair. They're not supposed to be flow that way!

Part 1 :: Leg 6 :: Berlin - Oslo
Quick but excellent lunch in Berlin, after all, its not a long ride from Tegel to Unter den linden and the Brandenburger Tör. While at the city centre a quick visit with some local friend to enjoy some local beer!
The quick rapidly became less quick, but fortunately enough, the JS4100 is sufficiently fast to allow us to reach Oslo on time.
Engines running and off we go... With the usual company at this airport ;-)
A different view
Cleared for takeoff
I love the climbouts with the Jestream! But I got distracted and Miss Aviatrix started complaining of "pitch too high"... Sh*** there go valuable points.... So enjoy the photo!
Another view of Berlin (while Aviatrix spills her drink...)
Enrotue to Oslo
Top of descent, with Oslo ahead
Turning for the approach procedure
Final approach. This one is gorgeous! Love the trees
-
Part 1 :: Leg 5 :: Lelystad - Berlin
After a well slept night, and a bit of planning, we're off to an early morning start! Hoping to reach Oslo by the end of the day.
Startup from cold at the break of dawn
Everything ready to go
Climbing enroute Berlin
Anotehr lovely day for flying
Touchdown @ EDDT
If you had any doubt about our location:
-
Part 1 :: Leg 4 :: Luxembourg - Lelystad
Well, Leg 4 deserves a bit more detail. After all, the DC 3 looks gorgeous on the retro Lufthansa colours!
After a marvelous meal and some fine wine (don't drink if you're flying), back to the ramp of ELLX where the magnificent D-CADE is waiting.
Wonderful sight of the quiet ramp at Luxembourg. A clash of generations and two of the best planes ever made!
Engine start! Everybody please place your gas masks NOW! cough cough!
Taxi out
D-CADE, you're cleared for takeoff
Climbing out turning towards the Netherlands
The DC3 requires contant adjustments...
Some weather coming in.
Stormchasers?!?!
OK, better descend a little bit...
- Brussels Control, D-CADE request descent to FL085 to avoid.
Much better now
Descending to EHLE
Touchdown
Welcoming rain...
Parked
This flight was great fun. It was nice having to fly the DC3...
Now, sleepover in Lelystad and tomorrow we go to Oslo!

Part 1 :: Leg 3 :: London City - Luxembourg
After a looooong night, with way too much alcohol and fun, the time to leave has come and fast! Luxembourg is our next stop.
Flight Plan is filed at the ARO and all set to go. We should be there at lunch time.
Taxi out...
Climbou like a rocket! Beautiful sight of the approach between buildings, the Millennium Dome and London on the background.
After an essencially uneventful flight, the green approach to ELLX
Final approach
Parked @ Lux
Off to lunch!
-
Part 1 :: Leg 2 :: Paris Orly - London City
After a nice lunch, the second leg was the task at hands, with a hop to London. Easy... fly north, pass the channel, when you see the Thames turn left and aim towards the tallest buildings! Like someone said, it's amazing that this airport is still open after 9-11!
Taxiing out of Paris
The Eiffel tower under the wing
Lovely weather once again
Ahoy... The channel ahead!
Reaching England
Like I said, at the Thames, turn left
Point to the buildings.... (Say hi to the Mayor)
Parked and EGLC... Off to the life of the capital!!!!
-
Part 1 :: Leg 1 :: Andras Field - Paris Orly
Bettter start posting something here, or I'm gonna get disqualified. But I've got a good excuse: anytime I have free I go flying; either for real, or on the fantastic RTWC!
So here I am, on the office, posting on the forum... I'm gonna get fired!
So the big challenge starts! At Andras Field the expectation was great, byes to the family, plane loaded with luggage, survival equipment (i.e. beer), etc...
Engines running and all set to go!
Climbout with Andras Field behind...
Uneventful Cruise with litte weather
Final Approach
Bonjour Orly
Engines stopped and on blocks.
Now off to the city to enjoy a fine french meal!
-
Hi Ole,
I've had a problem similar to Ian's but just got around it. The difference was that in my FSFS the flight was recorded on the normal logbook and not on the html one.
What happened was that I accidentally edited the html from IE trying to copy it and MSWord "recoded" the file from its simple HTML to a more advanced coding.
I've managed to reinstate the original file, and the last flight was recorded as it should.
Which brings me to the question: which log will you use for verification purposes the .plt or the .htm?
-
The final leg took me in my Bonanza back home at Andras Field
Takeoff
Sorry, no photos of the arrival... Had to rush to finish in time!
-
Leg 4 of 5 was out of Sion to Innsbruck.
Another challenging flight, with a short runway for takeoff and a difficult approach. I was to ferry an A319 for TAP PORTUGAL, and my Bonanza should be awaiting me at the destination after an engine overhaul...
CS-TTS waiting for me... barely fits the parking position.. Taxying is to be made with marshall assistance of course!
Literally inching towards the runway!
God! Thi is a shor runway, and I have a lot of weight onboard!
BRAKES SET
FULL POWER
GO!
That was too close for my taste!
Climbing out
Descending to LOWI
Final approach
Engine shutdown
Postcard from Austria
-
really nice setup! like the spit!
-
While cruising along, might as well share a bit more of my prologue...
Leg 3 took us from Venice to Sion, a beautiful flight over the Alps, and a terrific approach (for wich I didn't prepare myself enough... had never landed there!)
Here just after departure. Goodbye to Venice and the Lido...
The beautiful B58 produced by Carenado
Weather ahead
Well... I still need to negociate the Alps... Don't think 10.000' is gonna be enough!
Sion in sight!
On final
And here we are! Another leg complete!
