  1. Eh!

    Take a look here: http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/

It's available for FSX, FS9 and X-plane. You can't get any better clouds for your flightsim.

Thank you SF22, I already have REX, beautiful clouds, but these are not 3D clouds, they are only a better rendering of the FSX clouds...

No, I'm looking after a real volumetric clouds, a realistic one. In FSX, you never cross the clouds, they are only turning around the plane when you are in.

But, thank you for your advise !

  2. Hi Team !

I'm really looking after real 3D clouds for FSX. I was looking on google and found that I was not the only one and maybe the last one...

Why don't you make a realistic volumetric cloud for flight simulator? It's a real market with lot of costumer.

Just look at this : http://simul.co.uk

  3. Hi,

I saw on a forum (don't ask me where, I couldn't remember) that Casablanca was nearly working for FSX. the problem was a default texture that cover a part of a runway, except this, it was mentioned that all was compatible, maybe you can expect a patch??

    good luck

  4. I think we should not only thank Mathijs! we should say thank you to the whole aerosoft company and to all others who make flightsimulation being that what it is!!!

Just think about what would be without aerosoft, pmdg, and so on... who is flying the default 747-400 which you can find in the normal fsx? i think no serious flightsimmer is doing that!

so lets say thank you to all developers of flightsim add-ons for their great work, which made the flightsimulator x what it is now.

and by the way, the pics and videos of the airbus x look really great

i can't wait for the release any longer...wub.gif

of course, thanks to the entire aerosoft but I wanted to especially tell it to Mathijs because he is always answering to any question and has a lot of patience!

  5. Look it is really very simple. Weather radar detects precipitation (rain. hail, to certain degree snow). But FSX only has rain at the aircraft location, there simply IS no rain at any other location. There is not even a way to get the location of a cloud that could indicate rain. Now it's not to hard to show some moving bitmaps when FSX weather tells you there is rain, but that would be 100% fake. There is no way to have an FSX weather radar that allows you to avoid weather for the simple reason that weather is not there to detect.

So it is not a matter of simulating a weather radar in our opinion, it is faking a simulated weather radar. I fully respect others do that but we have been working on the idea that everything we include should be based on something that actually exists in FSX.

    Hello Mathijs,

I sent you a PM about weather radar. What do you think about it??

    thanks Didier Chabanne

    Hi,

Mega airports are still available for both version FS2004 and FSX

  7. Hi guys,

I know mega airport Amsterdam is on the final way but I would like to know what is the next Mega Airport that will follow?

I also would like to congratulate the devs for the nice work you bring to the simmers!

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

  8. Hi !

As I can see, some sceneries are only for FSX and I just wanted to know if Paris-Orly will also be available for FS2004?
