  1. I have done several turnaround flights (this aircraft is great for doing that) while flying on VATSIM and have not had this issue at all. What is different for my setup however is I don't start cold and dark, but ready to start state (going off memory so may not be what it is called) and I have all the experimental updates installed. I am also using GSX and so far have not had to reset GSX or anything like that and also had no issues with the checklist, which starts over after the countdown timer has concluded.
  2. No files were updated by the tool and nothing pending update, shows 4.7.2 Windows 10 April 2018 installed. Just really odd. It does not affect connection to vPilot, actual tuning of frequencies, or anything like that as long as I do the workaround of changing to ready for takeoff state then choose another state after. Nice little .net tool though, was not aware of it.
  3. Since installing the latest experimental update and flying on VATSIM, the standby comm freq has an extra .15. for example if I tune 122.80 and then the standby freq will have 122.815 if I move the dial around. Not a huge deal, I have to transfer the freq back over and then change again and it works, but was not present before. I hope I did not confuse anyone.
  4. Have you asked this on the Airhauler 2 early access forums? Also, are you running the DC-8 in networked mode checked in air hauler options? I don't have the DC-8 yet but I run Airhauler 2 for every flight with P3Dv4 with multiple aircraft including Aerosoft Airbus pro in networked mode mostly because the aircraft are so complex.
  5. Uh oh, now I can't tune the frequency. freq is 120.570 and Airbus radio does 120.575.
  6. Well, at least I can use voice for the moment. Also happy to know I am not crazy. (yet)
  7. I am about to enter a controller's airspace, did this affect voice?
  8. I am not sure if anyone has flown the aircraft on Vatsim. Is anyone having an issue typing and transmitting text in Unicom when flying the A319? Seems to be the only aircraft where I am having that issue. Maybe someone much smarter than I am can shed some light on that.
  9. Using the default installation path, looks like I am also having the same issue now that I can hear the checklist. I cycled through all of the doors just to make sure, but checklist is still stuck on 'close doors' Without knowing what the trigger is that continues the checklist aside from closing the doors, not sure what else to test to determine the issue.
  10. No apology necessary, you have to make fun a little in your position to get through it all. Speaking of making fun, I figured out what was causing it and fixed it but have no clue how it occurred. I went to the sound.cfg file for the A319 model I was testing before and then went to the sound folder and noticed something strange. My default sound player is Windows media player and all sounds are defaulting to windows media except for .wav files. It was defaulting to Groove music player for only .wav files and nothing else. I don't use Groove player, have no plans to use Groove player, and have no explanation as to why only .wav files were defaulting to it and nothing else. Changed the default file type to windows media player, problem solved. Long story short, just in case someone has sound missing or partial sound, might need to look closer. I am happy I was able to locate the issue in a matter of minutes, not usually that lucky. By the way, congratulations on a very well done product (including the crashing into water sounds.) Would love to know how that was created.
  11. I can't assume anything, with computers it is cause and effect. It must be something more simple since sound with my system overall is working fine. Let me do some more research from top to bottom and maybe locate the issue that is causing it, might help someone in the future with a similar setup.
  12. Are you able to open from the start menu?
  13. Reinstalled P3D to version 4.3 this week in preparation for the release of the Aerosoft Airbus. (complete install, not the shortcut method) So far sound issues not affecting any other addon or default aircraft nor any addons within P3D such as Acitvesky and GSX. Engine sounds are working as well as landing gear, flaps, and the speedbreak for the A319. Issues are specifically within the VC with no clicking sounds and no copilot voice. I would have to disagree that based on the information available, that this would be OS or P3D specific to the installation unless there are some missing sound files I am unaware of. I noticed another post about a sound issue with the clicking portion and verified that the files were present in the system 32 folder that were referenced. Otherwise the aircraft flies great and once figured out, will be addictive.
  14. Mine is located at C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\Aerosoft\General\A3XX Company Route Editor Mine is opening.
  15. Is anyone having issues where there is no sound internally with flipping switches and also the copilot is silent? I updated using the updater and also a reinstall, all I get is the engine sound once the engines are started. Checked via the FMC and made sure the co-pilot and all the other sounds are on, that the volume levels in the options are up, and I get other sounds such as weather and GSX making noise loading the aircraft. Sound drivers are up to date with latest driver even though this is onboard integrated sound (Realtek) and is not an issue with any other aircraft. Anyone have suggestions or encounter this issue? Also still can't do the checklist with the copilot since it is stuck on close doors (even though everything indicating closed.)
