  1. It is called Mega Scenery Zvartnots and it is in Armenia...Here are some shots I took of it today; no captions are necessary:- The other shots and the filename can be found here:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/5065-a-very-impressive-freeware-airport/ Thanks for looking
  2. Continuing on from Entebbe I have planned a Tour of the Ugandan airports provided in this freeware package. Then another of the Tanganyican ones:- Folding the wheels away before setting course for Arua. The full sequence of the first leg can be seen by clicking this address:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/5060-africa-1960-tour/ Thanks for looking
  3. I've been exploring this recently released freeware scenery for FS9 and of course I am taking pictures along the way:- First I flew from Nairobi down to Malindi on the Kenya coast to remember some events in 1960. The next day I flew up back past Nairobi and on... ...to Kisumu... ...still in Kenya but on the edge of Lake Victoria. Touching down and... ...taxying in. Parked for the night. Today I flew on into Uganda and here I am parked at Entebbe. I am really enjoying this scenery from the 1960s, particularly as I was there then
  4. I thought I would try a long trip in my iFly BBJ3, and I took a series of pictures along the way. Pushing back from the gate at Fly Tampa's KBOS Boston. ...into the climb. The full sequence can be seen by clicking this address:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/5023-boston-to-frankfurt/ Thanks for looking
  5. I would not be surprised if that is the correct amount of wing flex...I've never flown in one of these later models but Boeing wings do tend to flex a lot. I once flew in a B744 in a passenger seat on the right side...When I looked across the aircraft out of a left side window as we taxied out, I found I was looking straight at the left wing tiplet. As we took off I looked at that tiplet until it rose up out of sight. I even put my head down into the aisle as low as I could get it, but the wingtip was still out of sight
  6. Thank you Airpacifica...Yes it is a wonderful area to fly in
  7. I flew back from Anchorage to McLeland Field today and was primarily interested in testing the management of the two Aux fuel tanks that I have fitted. I also took some pics of the descent and approach into PAMA...They are mostly panel shots and will probably only be of interest to those who fly Glass and FMCs:- Here is the VC at this point...I don't use it but I know that VC enthusiasts like to see it. We are now passing 1000 feet and the FLARE has armed. Here is the VC again further down the approach and I have folded the HUD up into the roof, out of the way. The full sequence can be seen by clicking this address:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/4983-return-to-base-from-anchorage/ Thanks for looking
  8. I took the BBJ3 to Anchorage today to practice FMC management...Here are some shots I took along the way:- ...along the way. It was cloudy but very pretty. The other shots are here:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/4976-to-anchorage/ Thanks for looking
  9. Thank you Jerry...and TF-197 this is only FS9 at the moment.
  10. Just trying out my iFly BBJ3 at Heathrow Airport:- A nice cowling shot! The rest of the shots can be seen here:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/index.php?/topic/4969-bbj3-at-london/ Thanks for looking
  11. I'm getting on well with my Conversion Course and today managed an Autoland at McLeland Field in pretty wet weather. I had to first insert PAMA with all its fixes, aids, approaches and runways into the iFly database. I also fitted the auxilliary fuel tanks and the spray effect from the reverse thrust on a wet or snowy runway. Here are half a dozen pictures that I took today:- Crossed the fence and in the auto Flare. Tower view as I pass...note the spray. Even more noticeable here in Spot view. I have the Autobrake set for max and I'm a bit over the max landing weight... ...but managing to stop on my rather short runway. Here seen in VC cockpit as I'm nearly stopped. Parked next to an old Continental B727. My aircraft is the BBJ3 from iFly Developments...thanks for looking
  12. Thanks Matt...Yes, for me they have always been Number One in the World
  13. I was delighted to be pointed at this rendering of Meigs and enjoyed a quick visit there for old times sake:- I was very pleased to see my tiny bit of scenery here at my old parking spot is still active (the car, steps and traffic cone). The car has engine idling sounds which are still working...I wish I could remember how I did that! Couldn't resist this also...The last time I did this was in my old original Bandit! Thanks for looking
  14. The METAR this morning said "10SM" and this is how REX painted it in FS9...I think this is accurately and beautifully done:-
  15. Hi Simeon...She really is one of the nicest to fly ever in FS9...Someone gave me a fix today for the "Relaxed Captain"...It Automatically closes the window as the speed passes 15 knots on take-off and then opens it again on landing as the speed falls back below 15 kts
  16. ...in real REX weather today at McLeland Field:- I must fly this aeroplane more often...It is such a joy. The 2D panel on this machine is a lovely to use... The rest of the landing sequence can be seen by clicking this address:- http://forum.mutleyshangar.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5008 Thanks for looking
  17. ...I was a few miles away at Stoke Fleming, but I managed to get these few shots:- In spite of this chap nudging my elbow and trying to bite my shoulder!

This HD video should be clicked up on the resolution icon to 1080 and the extreme right icon should be clicked to go to Full Screen Mode. 22. ...for my first flight in Dave Molyneaux's Auster arrow but I enjoyed sailing around in the bay...Here is a sequence of shots in the order that I took them. The full sequence can be seen by clicking here:- http://forum.fsscreenshots.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=2&topic_id=7892&mode=full&page Thanks for looking
