  1. Thanks so far a fellow simmer sent me a fix I tried it (he will be posting his fix on the forum) that so far has worked after two completed flights and loading any Airbus X aircraft I did a flight from LAX-LAS and LAS-SFO.

I will continue to test it and see if and CDT's appear.

  2. I have been having some problems with the Airbus X for a while now this is the only aircraft I am having issues with with any crashing and especially this crashing. The CDT will occur after I choose the aircraft up to the time of loading.

I am using the following aircraft with NO issues (PMDG 747X, LDS 767X, Quality Sim 757, Captain Sim 777, and ifly 737 none of these aircraft cause a CDT. I am at a loss as to why it's just the Airbus X that causes this CDT I have installed several UAL liveries and ONLY 2 will not cause the CDT

I have read this but to no avail again it's cetrtain liveries. http://www.simforums...topic29041.html

    Re-paint by ual1819

    Attached File(s)

    &

    UALN440UA UAL/CO Merger colors

All others just cause the CDT when loading.

Any ideas on this fustrating issue.

    Thank you

  3. NTDLL errors can relate to pretty much anything under the sun. What I would reccomend doing is running chkdsk on your C drive (or what ever drive letter windows is installed to). You will have to reboot for the chkdsk to run. It certainly fixed the CDT's I was having due to ntdll

Thanks I will check the only reason I posted about the ntdll error is that I can run the Quality Sim 757, and the Level D 767 at Las Vegas with Vegas X installed but once I load the Airbus X and Las Vegas it loads to a certain point and then the ntdll error.

    Thanks

    Sean

  4. So far I have two issues with Las Vegas X

Issue 1 when I try to load Airbus X at the airport I get a ntdll crash each time (if I load Airbus X from say Reno no problems.

Issue 2 the textures are far blurry on the hotels to the paint you cannot make the names out.

Below are my specs BTW this is a fresh in stall of FSX.

    Intel i7-950 Processor, 8GB DDR3-1066 SDRAM, 1TB 7200RPM HD, 1TB HP Media Drive, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4850, SB X-Fi Titanium, HP w2338h LCD,

  5. Not sure what has happened I seemed to miss the mess that has unfolded but what I can say is AES has changed FS as a whole for those with FS9 we now have a active airports something I would not want to live with out. I hope Oliver will continue with making more releases of this fantastic product. It's a shame that people feel the need to hack products and steal codes all I can say is this will never stop I just hope that Oliver will continue to offer this great product and the simming community can continue to support Oliver by buying more credits.

  6. Mr. Manny,

    Let's put things in perspective...

It might be shocking but, honestly, in the last 20 or so years there have been many great software simulator companies that did great with their products for a time and then, disappeared over night. (e.g. Spectrum Holobyte, Electronic Arts, Microprose, Sublogic, Janes, etc.; just to name a few) And, yet, many people are still using their packages or moved on to others.

However, this is NOT true (right now) with MS who have already deployed ESP into the Civil and Military industry. Their intention is to maintain the base-code of the package and let their customers modify several aspects of their environment for specific industrial needs. This means we won't need another FS version necessarily; we might just need some (or all) of the features that ESP has for realism. FSX will fulfill everything gamers would need for several aspects of its intended use. Honestly, many users don't use all the features that are already there now for reasons of knowledge, hardware limitations, and developer design limitations. That is why I say that FSX will have a greater shelf life and allow developers to keep programming for it for years to come. It is part of the base of ESP.

Let me illustrate my point further:

e.g. Spectrum Holobyte's Falcon 3.0, which was bought out by Microprose, when they went bust, was made it Falcon 4.0; then Microprose went bust and users began the FREE Falcon SP Series for many years. Later, Lead Pursuits bought the code and made Falcon 4.0: Allied Forces. Now they are still developing the code and have talked about Falcon 5.0 for years. But, the product is still around in one form or another because people really like what it has to offer. Are you getting my point?

Thus, FS is not dead any time soon; it may become ESP or might become far better in the hands of another company, rather then ACES; only time will tell. But, at least for the next few years you can hope to afford hardware that will perform to your liking with far greater performance (FPS) and cheaper prices ($$$) then ever before.;)

So, enjoy the blessing you have today and thank the All-Mighty (God) for it because "tomorrow is never promised to anyone, all we have is here and now." :)

Well I have feeling that we will see many developers who dropped FS9 development products and stick to FSX moving back to both FS9 & FSX. I can tell you and 99.9% of the FS9 guys will stay with FS9 for many years. I see no need to move to FSX, if MS delays the next release of FS for 3-4 years that is a lot of lost sales for developers for FS9 customers. They cannot survive on FSX products alone I hope we can see some more FS9 and FST duel design releases like FSDT does.

  7. Honestly, this doesn't look much better than MegasceneryX's version of Vegas. Their scenery has been out for some time and is very nice. I'd

Mega Scenery Las Vegas is just photo real scenery not buildings were added (default FSX).

  8. There's a freeware scenery of Las Vegas city available here:

    http://fs-x.world.coocan.jp/

    Matthew

Thanks yea I currently use that scenery we are looking for an up to date (his is not up to date- We are needing the Encore, Palms, Palazzo, get rid of the Frontier, Stardust, add Trump, City Center, Cosmo, Planet Hollywood, ect...) I emailed the author he does not have plans to update the scenery for the future :(

    Sean

  9. I hope that you would re-consider if you look at the responses and once FSDT releases Las Vegas you will see that a Las Vegas area scenery would sell like hot cakes even a non-boxed version. Heck if I recall Mega-Scenery Las Vegas X which is just a photo real ground textures sold a few thousand downloads. I could only imagine what Aerosoft Las Vegas could sell.

You figure 90% of the detail is on the Vegas strip, 5% downtown, 3% Bolder, and 2% off the strip maybe a handful of Hotel and Casino's.

Take a second look I think you will find that Vegas is still a Jackpot :) Just look at the freeware Las Vegas strip scenery available and see how many times that scenery has been downloaded that will give you a good idea "Cha Ching"

    Sean

  10. Wow! Mathijs! This is a great idea! You already have Aerosoft New York City. FSDT is NOT doing the city and strip senery. This would be wonderful! Including the Hoover Dam and Lake Las Vegas. I can get heaps of photos for you if you like! And don't forget the new City Center under construction! The night lighting for the hotels and Strip would be awesome not to mention the traffic! I think this is a great itea for both FS9 and FSX.

    Aerosoft Las Vegas!

    Whadda ya think??

I could not agree more what a great piece of scenery this could be the Las Vegas valley scenery :) from Red Rock all the way to Hoover Dam/Bolder City :)
