  1. It's hiding out on Page 4. It looks really good.
  2. Hi Herbert, turns out that did the trick. Somehow I haven't had any issues after updating until this time. Good to know. Thank you for the quick reply.
  3. Hi, I just downloaded version 1.0.5.0 from the Aerosoft Updater and found the HUD open by default upon starting a flight with no clickspot to stow. Additionally, the screen doesn't seem to consistently respond to flight information changes like altimeter, v-speeds, brightness until clicking on the frame above the glass. I flew the CRJ yesterday and had no issues, so I can only think this has something to do with the version update from today. I tested this out at several airports in several liveries, some default Aerosoft, and some 3rd party, all with the same result. Hopefully this is a quick fix. Thanks!
  4. Agreed. You can tell in every Live Developer Q&A Microsoft and Asobo hold on Twitch that there is true passion in growing this sim. It's really encouraging to see. It's amazing how far they stretch the segments on these. Wow, that's way too long to spend in a CRJ. On the plus side, at least they have in-seat PTV's. Makes it somewhat bearable.
  5. AC had ORD-YVR blocked at 4:25 on the -900. I don't know what the hostility is for. Let's move on.
  6. Yeah, I thought it was real, too! @Mathijs Kok Is the SDK intended to be a working document in that it will always be added to? Developers are learning to use the tools better, but will it reach a point where Jo, for example, could think of something really cool and Asobo will write the code and program the sim to incorporate it? Just curious, this stuff is really interesting.
  7. This. Jorg at Microsoft told a story in an interview a few months ago about using the sim to fly over his hometown and get a sort of virtual connection with his family since he couldn't travel there in person. I think many people feel the same way.
  8. In many aircraft, the pilots can see the wings wiggle from the cockpit. If you're going for 100% by the book 1:1 real world simulation, this may be important. For others, having wing views is important and adds to the immersion as well. To each their own.
  9. Vindication Can't wait to see it in action! For the CRJ...but there's a Twin Otter and Airbus series in development as well
  10. We're all just having a fun discussion while razor focused on every detail while we wait for the release.
  11. Absolutely, but that wing wiggle is very characteristic of RJ's, so if its modelled, immersion factor +100%. I know Aerosoft has had a hard stance on the topic, but I couldn't ignore it in those preview images. Of course I could be wrong, but I suppose no harm in asking.
  12. Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been glued to this project since page #1 and am really excited to fly it once it's released. I've been quite torn since these images showed up on Wednesday whether to ask this, considering I'm a new poster and prefer to have a good reputation and all, and Aerosoft's stance on barely noticeable features. But, after seeing the incredible cabin pictures this morning, here goes. Are my eyes deceiving me, or do I see wingflex? It's so subtle, but it's been gnawing at me. I even brought them in to Paint to draw a few lines along the leading edges. If not, no harm no foul, but if so, it's really nicely done. Also, these images posted over the past 100+ pages are wallpaper quality, they're really amazing and great to get lost in while taking a break from the day job. Thanks, and great work!
