Hi,
I am having a problem assigning AES credits to Vilnius FS9. In the AES utility it states that the scenery is not installed (ie the entry is in red), hence it won't allow me to asign credits. In Aerosoft Launcher the installed status is Activation state: Undefined and the Activate button is greyed out, but within flightsim 9 the scenery is installed normally. I have tried uninstalling the scenery via Aerosoft Launcher and then reinstalling, result no change.
Please advise, thank you in anticipation of your reply.

Hi Michael,
I have had no issues with it on my System, I added the Vfr scenery after the airport in FS9 and just moved the Vfr scenery to a lower possition than the airport.

Hi,
I have 6 AESlite entries in my senery config, would it be possible to put all the files into one file so reducing to one file entry only? Similar question with regards to LC entries, again would it be possible to put all the German airport LC files in to one file so reducing scenery config file entries?

Bruce you have my sense of humour, but then maybe if we were using a language other than our mother tongue our translation may be just as good. I was wondering if it was the result of an online translation service.

Hi,
After a days research, activating and deactivating various addon scenery's I have found the culprit, "FS2002 & FS2004 Scenery Hamburg2003 Version 1.1 Hamburg-City Germany", by Dirk Brandenburg. This is a two part scenery, deleting HHGroundFS2004 got ride of the memory leak but I was then getting a CTD over Hamberg, so I have had to delete both parts of the scenery and everything is now back to normal.

Hi,
Is anybody else experiencing a serious memory leak at the new EDDH Hamberg airport? I just sit on the apron and can watch my memory leaking away at about 0.1GB per min and if I change view point I loose abot 0.3Gb. at page file between 1.54Gb and 1.64Gb either CTD or out of memory error.
Coments appreciated.

First of all thank you for your swift reply.
Sorry to say that AES didn't like that, having done what you said I get an error message, "AES version incompatability found, run installer of AES version 1.99".
Please advise, I took backups of the original files before I replaced them with the new ones, but I haven't restored them at this time.

I am back again with the same problem, I have just installed AES 1.99b to add the new EDDH and once again I have the same problem with RJTT Tokyo Haneda.
Could you please work your magic with a new fix for this problem.

From a personal and purely selfish point of view, although I realise that it will affect many people adversely, download weather doesn't bother me so long as it doesn't also affect active sky downloads. But from my perspective it does now put a limited time span on the life of our beloved sim. There are only so many years that the third party developers will be able to develop new products and support both FS9 and X. I do hope however that there will be quite a few years life left in the products, so that we will all be able to enjoy or hobby for many more years.

I can confirm that RJTT_AES199_ABS solves the problem, the RJTT_AES199_REL file makes no difference at all.
Thanks once again for your prompt attention and resolution to this problem. Thanks also for one of the best flight sim addons that there is on the market today.
Do I take it that from your above comment that this problem will not reoccur with future revisions to the AES product?

Did not download have not been tempted, from extensive reading about the product it just has nothing that I want from a simulator, ie ATC,real weather, AI or for that matter an airliner. If they introduce some heavey metal and somewhere I can fly to then maybe I would reconsidder.
