  1. Presumably this also means that you can't use FSUIPC autosave with this plane? Because if you have a CTD for whatever reason, you need to load the FSUIPC autosaved files from the scenario screen (which includes the aircraft, and it causes a CTD). I've tried changing this to a default plane then loading it, but that way you do not get any of the stuff you have set up in the CRJ (flight plan etc) so it's kind of useless?
  2. Thanks for prompt reply. Oddly enough I have found this works by trial and error since posting the above. Quite happy to do this (I will probably forget a few times!), but it's strange as I had the CRJ and CRJ Pro in v4, and didn't need to do it then. Nor do I need to do this for any other aircraft.
  3. Have recently installed CRJ Pro in P3dv5 (HF2). Plane shows in addons and is enabled, and the installed liveries appear in vehicle list in Scenario Startup window. But as soon as I have selected plane, airport etc and clicked OK, I get a black screen with hourglass, then CTD after a few seconds. Tried with several different variants and liveries but still the same. I also have AS A320 and A330 installed, as well as planes from other devs. Only have the problem with the CRJ.
  4. Good morning I was prompted to run the update when loading Simstarter this morning. Unfortunately something seems to have gone wrong with the update . I can access the main screen, but if I try to run any profile I get the following error message (copied in full) and am unable to proceed further - please advise: ************** Exception Text ************** System.Data.DuplicateNameException: A column named 'X_Groups' already belongs to this DataTable. at System.Data.DataColumnCollection.RegisterColumnName(String name, DataColumn column) at System.Data.DataColumnCollection.BaseAdd(DataColumn column) at System.Data.DataColumnCollection.AddAt(Int32 index, DataColumn column) at System.Data.DataColumnCollection.Add(String columnName, Type type) at (Object , String , Type ) at .(Object , String , Type ) at SIMstarter_NG.sceneryManager_F.(String , String , DataRow ) at (Object , String , String , DataRow ) at .(Object , String , String , DataRow ) at SIMstarter_NG.sceneryManager_F.(List`1 ) at (Object , List`1 ) at .(Object , List`1 ) at SIMstarter_NG.sceneryManager_F.readSceneryCfg(file scenery_file, Boolean addAddOnXml_BL) at (Object , file , Boolean ) at .(Object , file , Boolean ) at SIMstarter_NG.sceneryManager_F.load_form(String cfgSet_scenery_SG, Boolean profileStartUpMode_BL) at (Object , String , Boolean ) at .(Object , String , Boolean ) at .(String ) at .(String ) at SIMstarter_NG.main_F.() at (Object ) at .(Object ) at SIMstarter_NG.main_F.(Object , EventArgs ) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4150.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- SIMstarter NG P3D Assembly Version: 2.0.2.34 Win32 Version: 2.0.2.34 CodeBase: file:///E:/SIMstarter%20NG%20P3D/SIMstarter%20NG%20P3D.exe ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.VisualBasic Assembly Version: 10.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 14.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.VisualBasic/v4.0_10.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4001.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4121.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.4150.0 built by: NET48REL1LAST_C CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Runtime.Remoting Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.8.3752.0 built by: NET48REL1 CodeBase: file:///C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Runtime.Remoting/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Runtime.Remoting.dll ---------------------------------------- ? 5. Thank You! I thought it would be something simple. It looks like an entry has been removed from this file but not completely
  6. This morning, OldProp (Chaseplane and Immersion Effects) changed to hosting via Orbx, requiring a reinstallation of both Chaseplane and Immersion Manager - they are now called Parallel 42. The locations of files has changed (presumably to meet Orbx requirements). My reinstall went successfully, and I was able to start P3D directly and load Chaseplane camera views on all aircraft (visibility of Immersion effects not yet tested). However, when I try to load the sim from a Simstarter profile, I get an error message (see screenshot). Pressing continue causes Simstarter to lock up, needing to End Task via Task Manager. This happens with any profile I choose. Have tried to look at both sets of dll.xml and exe.xml files for syntax or path errors, but can't find anything that is obviously wrong. Debug package is attached along with screenshot and full text extract of the error message 20200124-15h41m43_SIMstarterNG_DebugPackage.zip error message expanded.txt
  7. I have had same throttle issue with Simstarter NG, but had already worked out that it didn't happen when starting P3D directly. I will try the workaround posted above.
  8. After a few weeks of testing, all is good, apart from excessive decent rate in some conditions. If you are above the descent path required by the flighplan (for whatever reason e.g. missed TOD or ATC instructions), the aircraft will try to aggressively descend , irrespective of the aircraft's safe capabilities, the descent rate can be well above what would be considered acceptable in normal airline ops. This can lead in certain circumstances to being unable to meet the 250kt 10k restriction, even with full spoilers, and difficulty in safely adding flaps during the approach phase. It doesn't appear to have a "decent path unachievable" correction in the flight logic, or if it does, it doesn't work properly. This is not what I remember from the original AS Airbuses, which would pitch up if the speed was getting out of control (I think?). Other than that, am very pleased with the new buses!
