Hi,
About a week ago now i was flying in FS2004 when the application closed due to an error, i didn't think anything of it and closed the program. I tried loading up FS2004 today but the program crashes straight away with the following error codes:-

I have tried several searches for information and rectifications of this error but with no luck.
Has anybody else experienced this error or know a way of fixing it?

Hi Mathijs,
I downloaded ADE and it appears the objects you see in the picture were placed on the apron of the afcad, a simple delete through ADE has done the trick.

I have attached a screenshot after i had changed the parking to "randomize" the only way to return this to normal is to replace the file with the original untouched afcad file.

I am using Afcad, do you recommend another program?

To change the size of the parking stands as aircraft park next to each other with wings overlapping and spead them about over the apron.

Hi All,
Is there anyway to edit the afcad for Sharm El Sheikh without the scenery messing up?
If i edit the afcad in anyway once i load HESH in FS9 there default tower and buildings appear in the middle of the apron, the only way to correct this is to copy the original afcad back into the scenery folder.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry nothing planned there.
I really think Sharm el Shiekh at least should be considered, this is more of a holiday airport now due to a massive surge in touism then any of the planned airports. Please reconsider, pretty please??

Hi,
As these will be holiday airports would you consider doing Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. This airport has expanded alot in recent years due to the amount of charter airlines serving it and would fit perfectly under "holiday airports"

I have the scenery installed but if i make an adjustment to the afcad then the default FS2004 scenery also shows. Is adjusting the afcads restricted?

I get an error if i edit any AFCADS then the default scenery shows with the Aerosoft scenery!!

I have around £500 to spend excluding money that i can get for selling the parts i will need to change.
100fps would be nice but unfortunatley i'm not linked up to the local power station to run it

I downloaded and tested Stockholm in FSX the other day but i only managed to get 10fps at best. Granted i did have most sliders at max, but i don't see the point in running FS9/FSX at only half its full potential. This is the first time i have downloaded an add-on scenery for FSX as i see potential for it and the fact that some developers will eventually stop producing FS9 products. My problem was though that i was only getting 10fps and at this speed i won't make the switch. My current system consists of a AMD Phenem 9600, 2x 2GB OCZ RAM, 2x Sapphire 3870, Gigabyte MA790FX-DQ6 motherboard, Tagem 580w PSU. I was thinking of changing my 2 graphic cards for a single ATI 4870 x2. Would this upgrade make much difference to the framerates as i have also read that FSX requires alot of power from the CPU and if this is the case what kind of upgrades would you suggest? I like to fly complex airliners such as the PMDG, Level-d to sceneries such as Madrid, JFK with active sky and lots of AI. To be able to run all this at an exceptable FPS all your suggestions and experience would be appreciated.

Could someone please help me out then as i have:-
AMD Phenom X4 Quad-Core Processor GP9600 2.3Ghz
4GB of OCZ Ram 1333MHz DDR3 (2x 2GB)
2X Sapphire ATI 3870 Graphic Cards
Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 AMD 790FX (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
And all the running on Windows Visat Ultimate edition.
The problem is that i don't seem to be able to run FSX with good framerates. Even with sliders near the middle at St Maarten in the default Cessna i
only get between 8-15 FPS. Surely i'm doing someting wrong but i am yet to find it? So for the mean time i'm having to stick with FS9 which gives me
great FPS with everything maxed out.

I agree that AES would enhance Garys scenery so much more. I have just purchased Birmingham Extreme and it just isn't the same arriving on stand with no activity. Has nothing more been mentioned on the possibility of a Lite version? It would be such a shame for UK2000 to lose business on a fantastic series of sceneries over Garys firm stance on not using AES. I think most simmers now only fly to AES'd airports as these are the more realistic ones, I mostly fly from Simwings Heathrow but only because of the AES facility.

This is in no way a hijacking. As I've already voted I too would love to see EGCC but I just had to share the best football (the word "soccer"
is not in my vocabulary) game out there with a fellow Man U fan if he hasn't discovered it yet.Thanks, i play them all the time and have had the current one from when it came out.

If Gary doesn't mind using AES as long as it doesn't affect the scenery, then surely all ground feautures could be used except stands with active docking. So for example stands with active docking just have pushback feature, but all the others have everything including steps for boarding as the jetway won't move. Bristol and all remote stands throughout the Xtreme series could also use all the features??

I have just tried your modified afcad and with the wind blowing from 270 the whole thing was a mess! I had aircraft back tracking down all runways for takeoff and landings? Is that because from 270 i should be using the southern afcad??
