About This File

Hi Fellow "AFL KA350 Pilots"

I'm posting two files to share with you for your Airfoillabs KA350 Honeycomb Bravo set up...

a. My Honeycomb Bravo AFL KA350 JSON file for you to import.

b. My script file covering all the entries to help with configuring.

These files have been worked on over the last few months during migrating my King Air 350 home-build flight deck to X-Plane 12 - not as straight-forward as one would expect!! Ahem!

My SIM has two PCs - Master (NVDIA) and Ext Views (AMD), Active Sky, Pilot2ATC, Air Manager and SimVimX for all the switch panels and screens, plus, MFG Peddles (Bril!) and TCA Yoke (Super Bril!) and other supporting apps/subs!

This Json version is not definitive, there are alternative settings, but gone for simplicity and working logic to reduce the confusion!! One issue found is that the HC Bravo interface doesn't work with all the XP or KA Commands or Datarefs ... why? Dono, as yet!

The HC Bravo IS a brilliant piece of kit! My only gripe is that there is no second DETENT for FFP and another Button for SEL ALT! Plus, updating to v2.2.0 isn't simple, and still has V2.1.0 in the "ABOUT" tab! And ... still get on-screen pop-ups stating that a DataRef isn't writable...! which it is!! None the less... Super Bril!

Happy to exchange feedback and thoughts.

Please Enjoy!

Hi

Re posted updated json file, sorry dono why the .eml extension..

This one's OK AFL KA350 Bravo.json

To answer the question how?

Open HC Configurator... 'Open Action' .... 'Download Profiles' and select the file from the web site. Check it's been downloaded. Then 'OPEN SETTINGS'... and 'IMPORT PROFILE' by 'Click' SELECT File and highlight the json file and OPEN. TICK the profile file box then 'click' IMPORT PROFILE.

To set it up in the HCC "Select Profiles".  Highlight the json file and 'LOAD'. Remember to 'Select Action' and 'Activate Current Profile'. The profile should now be shown in the blue ribbon at the bottom of the page. Done!
