artanisdg 0
Hi, I'm a mostly satisfied user of PFPX, but I have one very very annoying and important issue... whenever I try to plan a flight using optimal altitude, PFPX will give me a cruise altitude of 1000ft... I am currently only flying with NGX, and 737s don't usually fly that low. I have only been able to create flights by manually entering a cruise level... Which is ok for 737s but when the PMDG 777 comes out, it will be a nuisence. Anyone else having this issue? And is there a solution for this problem? A sample OFP has been included, from RKSI to RJTT... Thanks for any help in advance :-) KAL719 RKSI-RJTT (29 Aug 2013) #1.txt

Orphee 3
Thank for your help! I don't have 2000ft for cruise altitude, but every time low altitude for a 737. And i have underestimate fuel planning and i now this is my fault, but i don't know what i do wrong AIR CHILD FLIGHTPLAN - IFR ACH7735 F-PMDG LEAM-GMMZ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ALL WEIGHTS IN POUNDS (LB) STD 30AUG/2120Z -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREPARED 30AUG/2052Z BY FREDERIC FURST (6769) 0619348367 ACH7735 OFP 1 F-PMDG/B737-800 CF ROUTE: (AUTO) DEP: LEAM/LEI 07 ELEV 70 FT CRZ SPD: CI 39 TTL G/C DIST: 420 NM ARR: GMMZ/OZZ 30 ELEV 3782 FT INIT ALT: FL230 TTL F/P DIST: 433 NM BURN ADJ: 101.1% TTL AIR DIST: 433 NM AVG WIND CMP: 0 KT ALT: GMMX/RAK 10 ELEV 1545 FT 122 NM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONFIG DOW PAX CARGO TOTAL ULOAD LIM ZFW TOW LDW C12Y150 91300 88 0 19800 27200 ZFW MAX 138300 174700 144000 PLN 111100 123228 116121 ACT ...... ...... ...... FlightSimSoft.com 283
Mine is showing this route: N0381F230 VADA1B VADAT G850 BERUM/N0438F370 UG850 FES UV203 TOGMA TOGM1A The G850 is restricted to FL245, so the vertical Profile seems correct. Did you maybe select 'no step climb'?
DUS-Tim 5
If the optimum routing is availabe in lower airspace only, FL230/240 is not low, but very common for flight times around one hour.
