Cheyenne Chief Pilot 829 Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 That is correct. As per the PMDG B777 product description it has to be ASN (or AS16, of course). If you own one already, you could also add a separate wx radar gauge to the B777 panel (like the REX/MilViz advantage wx radar), but this would be a separate 2D popup and does not integrate into the B777's navigation display. With ASN/AS16 you get a seamless Integration, with all the bells 'n' whistles like windshear alert, automatic switchover from terrain display to wx and the like.
