very difficult, and mainly because the fuselage and tail are all in little pieces all over the place, nothing lines up and some are distorted as well. Main paint will always be the fuselage and tail, so as long as these are more or less in one piece, without distortions (straight lines are straight in the textures for instance). All the little bits and pieces, I can find, but having to draw one curved line (like on D-FSKY) over lots of separate bits and pieces of the fuselage can very quickly become an unpleasant job.
So the bigger the surfaces are, the better. That is from a painters view of course.
An example of a very nice texture layout/paintkit is the recent A2A Cessna 172, but I don't know if that is possible for the porter....
And rest assured, I will still buy it! Wonderful aircraft!
