Bill Freeborn 0
I have been receiving the "MS FS has encountered a problem and needs to close" message when I try to load the Warthog. I have tried to start from a default location and change planes, which didn't work. I uninstalled the A-10 file(s) through Control Panel, and then reinstalled the original and then the 101 Update. Still will not load. The thing is, I have been flying the A-10 many times after having purchased it several months ago. This is a new problem and I can't figure out a solution. Win XP Pro 2, FS9.1, P4-3Gb, ASUS P4G800E, 2 Gb DDR, 300Gb SATA, ATI 9800 etc. Would appreciate some help. Bill Freeborn
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Bill, Its possible that a default FS9 file has been replaced. Please check this thread here. Also loading the A-10 after certain Capt. Sim aircrafts may cause a crash.
Bill Freeborn 0
Hello Shaun, I had a CS aircraft saved in a flight. In an attempt to correct my problem, I loaded a default location (Meigs), saved the flight with a default aircraft and exited FS. Restarted FS taking me straight to the saved flight. Switched aircraft in this flight from the saved default plane to the A-10 Warthog with no problem. This is all I did. Thanks for your help.
