Program freezes when calculating flight

Recommended Posts

This has happened on the past 4 times I've tried to plan a flight from KSEA-PHLI using 737-800WL template with ETOPS 180.

When I compute, or recompute, the flight, the application freezes (spinning circle). I still see "Calculating Flight..." in the lower right but pressing ESC does nothing. I have to kill the application in Task Manager.

Note: this is with PFPX 1.02 on Windows 7 Professional.

Happened to me by using the V1.02 FIX. I reverted back to V1.00 and again was able to compute my flights.

Two updates:

I can reproduce this consistently by editing the payload after running the first calculation. The first calculation will say that fuel required exceeds maximum capacity, but does not actually say the fuel required.

Second, going back to 1.0 resolved the problem.
