ATC Callsign issue

Hi all,

One single stupid issue I can't solve. For strange reason, ATC from FSX refuse to use the callsign allocated to my Aegean A320:

- atc_airline=Aegean in my Aircraft.cfg

- Aegean callsign has been updated wih EditVoicepack and is properly listed in FSX callsigns in ATC informations FSX screen

Instead, FSX ATC is always using for AirbusX "Airbus SX-DVK", which is not he case for my AI Traffic properly using customised Airlines callsigns

Thanks for any answer to this very minor issue

Try changing it to a Airline that you know is working in FSX if it gets called by the Airline then you know theres a problem with Aegean.

Airbus X does not create fully complete livery entries in the aircraft.cfg file. And as everyone in the internet making liveries mimics it, those are not complete too.

For example, here is a stock Airbus X entry:

[FLTSIM.0]

title = Airbus A320 British Airways

sim					= A320

model					=

panel					=

sound					=

texture					= BritishAirwaysGEUUU

kb_checklists				= AirbusA321_check

kb_reference				= AirbusA321_ref

atc_id					= G-EUUU

atc_airline				= British Airways

atc_flight_number			=

ui_manufacturer				= Airbus X

ui_type					= A320-232 IAE

ui_variation				= British Airways

ui_typerole				= Commercial Airliner

ui_createdby				= Aerosoft

atc_parking_types			= GATE

description				= Airbus X - A320 IAE - British Airways\nwww.aerosoft.com
Now here is how a more complete entry should be (for example PMDG 737NGX livery manager makes entries as these, and they always have functional ATC callsings):
[FLTSIM.3]

title					= Airbus A320 Aegean SX-DGD

sim					= A320

model					=

panel					=

sound					=

texture					= AEGEAN_SX-DGD

kb_checklists				= AirbusA321_check

kb_reference				= AirbusA321_ref

atc_airline				= Aegean

atc_id					= SX-DGD

atc_flight_number			= 347

atc_model=A320

atc_parking_types			= GATE,RAMP

atc_type=AIRBUS

ui_manufacturer				= Airbus

ui_type					= A320-232 IAE

ui_variation = Aegean Airlines "Visit Greece"

ui_typerole				= A320

ui_createdby				= Aerosoft

airline_name=Aegean

description				= Airbus X - A320 IAE - Aegean SX-DGD "Visit Greece"\nRepaint by JPetroSS
It seems that for ATC callsings to work, the following need to be present: - a flight number
atc_flight_number			= 347
- a plane model
atc_model=A320
- an ATC type
atc_type=AIRBUS

So, if from now on, base all your entries like the second example above, ATC callsigns should always work.

FSX ATC adds "with Oscar" to the end of my callsign. Ex. "Buffalo Ground 1216 with Oscar, ready to taxi IFR." I'm not sure why, but I know that the pilot's name is not Oscar! At other time's, its alpha or some other letter.

With oscar, would normally mean that you have certain information like ATIS runway information etc etc.
